Re: Q/A With the Trolls
I was informed to post this question here where the big trolls play: Dear Trolls, I bought the M&T 2nd ($15.95) and PHB 3rd pdfs ($10) in mid to late 2008 on DrivethruRPG and I am wondering if there is a way to upgrade the purchased pdfs to the new releases? As I understand it the newer version...

Upgrade path for M&T 2nd and PHB 3rd PDFs?
Dear Trolls, I bought the M&T 2nd ($15.95) and PHB 3rd pdfs ($10) in mid to late 2008 on DrivethruRPG and I am wondering if there is a way to upgrade the purchased pdfs to the new releases? As I understand it the newer versions have some updated information, corrected typos as well as better lay...

Re: My houserule site is moving
ADD3 sure is tickling my fancy. I printed up a couple locally on 80 lb paper and had them comb bound (I printed out the prime version a year or so ago and had them bound with a paper cover as well) and I have to say the books rock! Comb binding seem to be better than the paper binding I had before. ...

Re: Myth & Magic RPG
M&M has implemented a unifying mechanic called Base20, which seems not that far off from the Siege Engine, but based on increments of 5. It may be have some differences though. Some of the revisions they have made since the last document seem to be pretty cool, but I can't keep up with them actu...

Re: My houserule site is moving
Wow, the UA has changed ALOT since I printed it out in 2008! I really like the new content and am curious what you hope to add to it. If possible random encounter tables would be a nice addition. I can't recall if the 2e MM has such tables, if not, then placing them in the UA would be best. Having/c...

Re: My houserule site is moving
One final question. How do you handle primse for monsters, especially with saving throws. I know in the past you told me that AD&D3 is best suited for C&C critters, but with the advent of the removal of primes, how does this affect using the M&T and such. Keeping primes at +5 or +6 makes...

Re: My houserule site is moving
Chris, I really believe your new primeless system is special. The 1e TSR material is extra icing on the cake to me (started with 2e myself). Even though your system is strong enough to fully stand on its own I can understand why you have yet to really promoted it. Being lowkey has its advantages. Th...

Re: Myth & Magic RPG
I have been following the development of M&M myself, in fact, some of the ideas they implemented were initially suggested by ahem, myself. I too have some small reservations about the proficiency system at the moment, but we should give them the benefit of the doubt and of course they welcome cr...

Re: My houserule site is moving
Very nice update! It seems to be rather complete, mature and final now. It has been a multi-year process. Congratulations!

Old School Sociology
<t>Got a chuckle from this, taken from Kellri.blogspot.com:<br/> <br/> The old school gaming movement wouldn't be, well, a school, without a whole bunch of cliques. Some of whom really don't much care for each other. As with any up-and-coming scene, everyone wants to claim to be the first, or if not...
