Re: AA for 5E

Finarvyn, thanks for the info. Does sound interesting! I get that c&c is preferred by some but am also looking forward to AA for us 5e fans (choice is good!)

Re: AA for 5E

So anyone know if this will be a full standalone game or a 5e supplement? (Personally I’m okay either way)

Re: AA for 5E

I have literally just found out about this from a post on the kickstarter for Sandy Petersen’s Cthulhu Mythos for 5e....and boy does this sound exciting! Been in a quiet RPG spell but recently 5e has really rekindled my enthusiasm and a pulp based game is fantastic, especially as it’s Amazing Advent...

Re: Amazing Adventures Errata and Clarifications

Finally managed to grab a print copy and love the game.... but I've already got to thinking how good it would be for a cowboy style game and realised that, despite the great rules for riding animals, there are no stats for horses in the game (that I can find). I know that I can use C&C rules, bu...

Re: Campaign set ups for Amazing Adventures ...

Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but it is a sort of campaign set up question: For those of you who have the PDF, how well does the game work without PC magic use (no Arcanist/ Mentalist)? Both as a totally non magic pulp game, or a game with obscure rare/ dangerous magic (perh...

Re: Amazing Adventures Pre Orders Now Open!

OK, so I still can't appear to get the PDF without over $15 additional "postage" (no replies to the various messages, but not a huge PDF fan anyway) and being v cash strapped I'm going to have to wait until the printed version makes it to the UK (so I can buy from my local shop without the...

Thanks for the swift reply! However, the system is still saying it will charge me $25+ for the pdf.....so guess not fixed completely. Will see if I get a reply to messages.

Cheers

Re: Amazing Adventures Pre Orders Now Open!

Posted this in an other forum as well, but when I went to pre-order the PDF/ePUB, it wants to charge me $5 or so for shipping and handling. Frost ~ have you had any response about this? As I'm in the UK it keeps trying to charge me over $15 for postage! I've sent emails but to no avail as y...

Dear Master Stewart, Upon raising your concerns with my good wife, who concurs with your own good lady's "piffle", we decided to peruse a suitable tome for enlightenment. Being the proud owner of a suitable Dictionary (Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase & Fable ~ 1898 printing) I wish to di...

Re: Victorious: Victorian Adventure in the Age of SuperManki

DMMike, Thanks for the peaks! :D I know it's always difficult to judge such things without the rest of the rules (and I assume there are rules on how Powers are used, restrictions on use or similar so that they don't get out of hand) but the Translocation power is interesting....and I like the "...

Re: Victorious: Victorian Adventure in the Age of SuperManki

So for instance, instead of the power Teleportation you have Translocation, or Mesmerism rather than Mind Control.
:P
This is just what I was hoping! A little thing I know, but it just helps build a "feel" in a game...
Just wish it was out already cos I want!!! :D

Right…any questions? Well you did ask Mike! :D I've been looking forward to this game for years since I first heard of it, but from the above outline I do have a couple of queries: Firstly, is Victorious OGL based, or is it more like StarSiege and uses the Siege engine in a completely different gam...
