Re: Welcome to the New Forums
Love the new boards! Thrilled that I'm not having several video ads playing as I open multiple tabs. That was getting so annoying.
This is a great move that can only serve to improve people's perceptions of TLG! Hopefully, that brings more people into the fold and keeps C&C reaching new heights!

Re: House Rule - Alternate Weapon Tables
Your idea of using it only to break ties is cool because then it's not a big deal on each roll until it comes up, much less intrusive. Simpler than mine, and simple is probably better I agree. I've been using simultaneous actions for initiative ties, but a weapon speed factor to break ties is intri...

Re: Where is the Errata?
It doesn't look like they've moved everything over from the old forums yet. The errata is still listed in the Keeper's Advice section on the old forums (which you can still get to with the direct link on the Troll Lord Website. Here's a link if it helps: http://www.freeyabb.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f...

The Malady of Kings
<t>I'm seeing the Malady of Kings revised listed for C&C, but can't find any forum announcements about its release. <br/> <br/> I'm looking for information on the tie-in with the Fat Dragon Games cardstock models. Specifically, how prominently do the windmill and house feature in the module? I l...

Ability score bonuses and penalties
<t>I could use some advice from folks who can think broadly about consequences of a house rule I'm considering (mostly just to ease some confusion for our gaming group that also still does a lot of 3e gaming.)<br/> <br/> Would there be any harm to adopting the 3e ability score bonuses and penalties ...

Re: Ogre's super simplified weapon rules.
<t>I like this, especially the dexterity part. <br/> <br/> I'm stuck on one thing though: two-weapon fighting and a +2 to hit for doing so. I guess I prefer the existing system that makes two-weapon fighting seem a little more difficult for characters to undertake, -3/-6 penalty. Makes sense to me t...

Re: More talk of primes
I don't think that would be overpowered, unless wishes were as common as smells in sewers -- then everyone would beef up their primes and there would be no game balance. In my game, wishes are really rare and powerful magic and really dangerous to use. Word your wish perfectly or watch the DM have s...
