Re: TLG 8126 Codex of Aihrde (Preorder)
As for the Kickstarter, I presume your going to make a option available specifically for us previous backers to pay on in order for us to get the maps and anything else unlocked by this Kickstarter? Without paying for the books again? Unless we go for a leather option. And for those of us who have ...

I have the original still. Used to run it at conventions in the 80s. Loved it. Wish it was in better condition though.

I believe the CKG was 7+ years. This one's only at 2.5 years. It's still like brand new. Hardly a drop in the Troll Bucket.Troll Lord wrote: We are finally at the end of this insanely long wait (though not quite as long as for the CKG I don't think).

Definitely considering it. The family would love to get some gaming in. My only worry is that it won't have much gaming, and will be mostly cosplay, movies, and such, like the con we recently tried in Jacksonville. We really only go for the rpg, board, etc gaming, not video games or anime.

War of the Dead for Savage Worlds. It's the Zombie Apocalypse! After the face munching in Miami, I figured it was a good time. Yeah.

Re: What Game to Pick Up this year at GC?
I'd have to go with Savage Worlds Deluxe Explorers Edition that should be available at Gencon. It's a great generic system so you can get your supers or fantasy or modern or whatever you want...and the kicker is...it's $10 for the rulebook. Can't beat that price and the system is growing on me for m...

Re: Ancient City Con, Jacksonville, FL
Not sure about Lord Dynel, but my family is considering it. Have you been to one before? After a total bust on gaming at Ancient City Con this weekend, I'd like to make sure there are Games to be played/run and not just people dressed funny and carrying 15ft swords with spiked hair. Before any anime...

Ancient City Con, Jacksonville, FL
Anyone going to Ancient City Con in Jacksonville, FL this weekend? Probably not, but if any are, let's get together for some C&C action. I will be there with wife and son, and C&C books in tow.

Re: Generic Maps
After GaryCon, Go0gleplex and I were working to get some maps together (well he the maps, and I the layout) for a pdf document of maps. While life caught up and he only sent me one map and I only sent back a single idea for a layout, I'm still up to be involved if you wish.
Let me know.

Ok... quick question since I didn't get many inquiries on this. Upon reflection, it might be the fact that there is an inclusion of the PHB and M&T. Would a few of you be more interested if these books were NOT part of the deal which would effectively lower the price a bit? M Yes, I would be in...

I missed out on all the hackmaster demos last year at GaryCon III. This year I was determined to get into one at IV. I've decided that most permanent magic items in my games will be atypical. They'll have little quirks that can be beneficial, detrimental, both, or none of the above. Please feel free to add items to the thread. My first contribution is: Death Knell is a +1 heavy mace made to look like a handbell. ...

Re: Defense of The Defense of The Chick Tract
Oddly enough, Brigham Young answered this question more than a century ago... ...when he said, "You see four goblins. Roll for initiative!" Sadly, the only things to roll were wagon wheels and oxen. Seven people got concussions. And the term "that's how we roll" was born. -Scott

Question on the pdf here and with all orders not through drive-thru/rpgnow. When there is an update, as we've seen on many recently, will there be ways to get them?
