Re: TLG 8126 Codex of Aihrde (Preorder)

Gorath pounds his fist on the table, upsetting the beer mugs and startling the other patrons. "Me no gots no PDF. Me wannty. Now. Youz promise" he grunts quite loudly at his robed companion, making no attempt to hide his anger. The surrounding patrons return to their conversations, but gla...

Peter uploaded the files to me this afternoon. I have some small changes I want to make this evening. But with luck this will go out PDF to the backs tonight (it will be late). Steve Cheers. You can do this! On the other hand, that's pretty hard core if you're rocking the editor's chair on a Friday...

BTW, a few bug notes for the signup page. 1) I have now tried signing up twice. The last time was well over a month ago. Where do these form submissions go? 2) The last checkbox is worded in a very scary way. "Uncheck this box if you do not want your email displayed in the Society Rolls". ...

Re: TLG 8130 Codex Celtarum

Paizo, Elmore, Fate, Reaper, and Traveller all had "Options". I think in all those cases, you could either add your option before the end, or tweak it post funding. It's a moot point here -- and an opportunity lost, I think. I would have spent more than the $40, but not to buy a tier full ...

Re: TLG 8130 Codex Celtarum

In the future, it may be helpful to let people add additional optional items to a given pledge level. Instead of constraining our choices of the extra goodies to deciding on which pledge level to go for, let us just add a certain amount post KS or something to get what we want. I would like to have ...

Re: Player base size estimates and organized play?

At best guess, what's the size of our current player base, particularly those who would play online? About 6 feet, 225 pounds. That was sophomore year in high school. I'm many pbb's beyond that weight now and 5" taller. I'd probably be taller except for the gravitational forces generated by my...

Player base size estimates and organized play?

At best guess, what's the size of our current player base, particularly those who would play online? Has anyone tried to put together an organized play system -- something akin to Pathfinder Society? If not, would it work? As it stands, I could play in PFS almost every day, or at least several times...

Re: Rock Con 11/4-11/6, 2011

Rock Con was a great convention for RPG games back in the 90's when I coordinated it with Skip Williams and Jean Rabe for the RPGA. RPGA stopped running the con after TSR moved to Seattle and the role-playing events quickly disappeared so I stopped going. I'd be willing to help bring table top RPGs...

Well, that con was almost a complete waste of time. We won't ever go back, for various reasons. The highlight was that my wife and I did find some players to run our newly hatched C&C scenario. The bad news was that we didn't get to finish in any of our sessions. We did get the chance to play so...

http://www.rock-con.com/ It's in Rockford, Illinois. This will be my first time at this con, and it looks like it's pretty heavily focused on Warhammer 40K and other miniatures play. There are plenty of board games there, however, and it looks like they do have some RPGS (including a C&C game I'...

Re: Troll Con dates?

So why not go to GameCon in Memphis this year instead? Ain't that close 'nuff? There's already a bunch of interest in a C&C game or 3. Real shame that TC isn't happening this year, though, truly. It would have been my wife and my first. Not sure why the C&C Society couldn't have organized it.
