Re: Domesday submissions...

I am working on some rules for working naval combat into C&C games. I plan on having it done by January 15th or thereabouts.

Re: Years of CK or DM/GM experience

I voted 0-2. I have DM 3.5 a few tsessions, but I either ended up killing everyone or everyone got distracted with something else. I am finally thinking of giving it a go in a serious way, but I am nervous that I will get the same results again.

I saw that earlier when I was giving some friends some gift ideas. So, does it never have to be refilled? :)

What's Going On With the C&CS Site?

Pretty much as the title suggests. There seem to be a lot of links referenced that aren't there and I can't seem to find anywhere to submit games played or to even pay for a rank if I was so inclined. Am I just blind?

Edit: Looks like I'm way past the time where an on-grid event is possible. I'll be looking into setting up some off-grid stuff, if I can swing it.

I am definitely interested in this as I seem to be missing the boat on all of the official events. I will make time in my schedule for any C&C games I can get!

Re: Who's running games at GenCon?

Dungeoneer, has my Haunted Highlands: Mythnoc Cairns game already filled up? I thought there were some slots still available. I'll have to check. I don't remember how many games were on the schedule, but most are being gm'd by company employees, or related individuals. Jason Vey has two Amazing Adv...

Re: Who's running games at GenCon?

Bummer. I was only able to get into "The Looking Stone". I was surprised to only see 5 C&C games up. I'll most likely run one next year, but since this is my first Gen Con (and convention in general) I thought I'd take it all in.

Wow, so I had to cancel my pledge due to my fiance getting into a minor car wreck. Nothing major and I'm just glad she's OK, but now the money needs to go to repairs. Bummer. Well, I'll pick it up when it's available!

Re: [Now Available] Map 00 Olden Lands Continent

Dungeoneer, Thanks! I hope you enjoy them greatly! As to the Gazetteer, soonest is bestest, but might not be optimal. It started out as a 36 to 48 pager, now we are at 100 pages and have at least 50 more to go! It's going to be less a Gazetteer, really, and more of a Campaign Resource Guide... It's...

Downgraded to the $60 level as I just don't have a use for the leather copy it will just look all weird on my shelf next to all the other C&C books I have.

When is that going to be, very interested! Just bought all four products you have available on DriveThruRPG, I like them a lot at first glance, I'll put together a comprehensive review of the four offerings tomorrow at latest.

I like Dragon Age as well, I guess I came across that I didn't. I just think the RPG itself can't do much else easily besides being a vehicle for Dragon Age.

Re: Dragon age on tabletop

I don't own it, I'll admit that up front nor have I played it, but I pieced together the rules and layout when it first came about. Like Treebore, I don't think the system is bad, but it seems very one dimensional to me, a one trick pony if you will. I feel like the system would be great if you enjo...

Speaking of signed copies, am I the only one that doesn't like them? Just marking up my books, just seems wrong, no matter who is doing it. I see where you are coming from. I think for me it's because they often sign it in very strange places. If there was a prominent blank spot left on the title p...

I have been a lurker on the boards more than an active participant. I've been tackled by real life and other responsibilities (and other hobbies) that are now starting to ease up. I've been wanting to take a more active role in contributing to the C&CS as a whole for a while now. I am definitely...

Well bagpipe music is only recently associated as a celtic fixture but the fact is that most of Europe had bagpipes, so it's more of a European influence in the end.
