Re: New Kickstarter GG's World Building 10
I'm a "no" right now. I just don't think I'd use any of them. Maybe Canting Crew? Might rethink that one.

I would ask this question on the Trolls Discord channel. You're likely to get a quicker response there.

Thanks to @Ancalagon for running a great game Friday night. Great adventure, lots of fun. If you get a chance to play at his table, do it.

Re: Rosetta Stone?
Most of the adventure's I've DM'd have been old 1E modules. I have run some Advanced Adventure modules as well, which I think are written for OSE or OSRIC. Makes no difference to me, as much like Lurker I just flip the AC. I can run these on the fly, and have only run into "trouble" when t...

Re: Mythic Con (West)
Ugh, I missed it... I'm available Friday but not Saturday. Still 1 spot open on Friday if you've not already signed up. Can my son hang out and watch? Edit: I grabbed the last spot. We'll figure it out when we get there. Disappointed there were no rooms available at the con rate for just Friday nig...

Re: Mythic Con (West)
OK, folks - I submitted my C&C scenario for 2 sessions at Mythic Con West. Things Best Forgotten In the decades following the end of the centuries long Winter's Dark, society and civilization have yet to return to the jungle-filled interior of the island continent of Inklu-Naid. However, the ti...

Re: Wands/Command words
Do you need a command word to operate a Wand? I know in AD&D you do, but the description in the M&T doesn't mention it. This came up in my game yesterday. The wielder was under the effect of a Silence spell but wanted to use a wand. Thoughts? I like using "Abracadaver" as the comm...

I don't think there have been any updates. I know the next release will be the "Gygaxian Fantasy" series.

Re: Wands/Command words
Thanks guys. I had played it out where the wand worked even with the silence in effect. In retrospect I probably would rule the other way, but it played out well and a lot of suspense and fun were had.

Protection from Alignment
Protection from Alignment says this: "The spell can also block any attempt to possess the warded creature or to exercise mental control over the creature by creatures of any alignment. The protection does not prevent casting a spell that gains mental control, but it prevents the caster of such ...

That looks pretty sweet. I picked up something more mundane as a trial. I should be able to try it out later this week when my son gets in town for Christmas break. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BLG ... UTF8&psc=1

Re: Time Tracking
Yea, depending on who the party is "working for", they've had to pay treasure taxes at times too. Since it's typically a 1 on 1 game, I sometimes lose track of time with everything else that's going on. I found a time tracker from Necrotic Gnome (free download) that might be exactly what I...

Campaign Journals
Do you use an official campaign journal? Anything fancy or just a standard rule notebook or pad? Is your journal extensive or just notes to remind yourself what happened last session? I keep pretty detailed notes, thinking at some point I'll type up the campaign I've been running for my son for the ...

Time Tracking
How do you keep time in your game for stuff like combat rounds, torches/lanterns, and spell effects? I've seen some people keep track on paper, others use a die, and some others just kind of hand wave it.

Re: Best psionics system for C&C
I haven't used psionics since way back in my AD&D days. Not sure what kind of modern systems are out there. I don't believe C&C has an option, even in the CKG.
