Re: New Online Game Starting in March

I'd like to play as an Illusionist if that's ok. Please let me know how to proceed as to creating our characters, unless we're doing that our first session. I'd like to get something on paper and flesh it out. Go ahead and roll up your characters (honor system). *Roll 4d6 drop the lowest, arrange a...

C&C class balance now that the 4th printing it out

I'm trying to get into a new C&C campaign soon either online or face-to-face and I'm wondering how class balance is in C&C from low to mid to high levels. Do mages pretty much own everyone at the high levels of play?

Do you guys have any room? I would possibly be interested in playing a Ranger. What time will you be playing Tuesday nights? What is the setting?

ONLINE Middle Earth Roleplaying (MERP) 2e game!

I am playing in a Middle Earth Roleplaying (MERP) 2e game over OpenRPG. OpenRPG is totally free and is an online virtual tabletop that allows us all to roll dice, chat in text, and for the GM to load maps, tokens, etc. we use to play. We just made level 2 in the campaign have room for a few more pla...

Getting back into C&C

I have some C&C books from when I first got into the game a while back and I'm looking to get back into it now. I'm wondering if there is a new version/printing of the player's guide and monsters & treasure please?

I have that same d20 conversion guide for C&C also but I am a bit more concerned with how to translate the classes with all their feats (see fighter) and everything else.

Pathfinder for C&C?????????

<t>My players are extremely interested in Pathfinder and we currently are playing in a test campaign online to give the system a spin. I am thinking they are going to want to play this as one of the games we play face-face weekly. However, the game is very rules-heavy and I am thinking of looking in...

C&C and melee classes at higher levels

<t>I am currently playing in a new Pathfinder campaign and I was wondering how balanced C&C is toward melee characters in the higher levels? A big and often stated issue with 3.5 was that melee classes got overshadowed in the high levels by spellcasters. How does C&C hold up in this regard? ...

How is Star SIEGE?

How is Star SIEGE? I got the game at the last GenCon but haven't gotten to start looking at it? From what I've seen it looks quite a bit more complicated than C&C. Is this the case? Does it do space stuff well? Would it handles something like Star Trek well?

<t>I love Aces & Eights and have all the books so far. I also had downloaded these videos when I first started getting into it. I think it is one of the most innovative RPGs I've seen. Another great thing is all the rules are modular, meaning you can add whatever complexity you are comfortable w...

There is a group running an entire adventure path that is available for free through their website for L5R 3E called Heroes of Rokugan and is similar to an RPGA campaign. We could mess with those. They already sent me the first 5.

Wizards and fighters

<t>I haven't gotten to get any of my characters up to higher levels yet but I was just wondering if wizards are insanely overpowering like they were in normal D&D in the higher levels and if fighters get completely overshadowed as well, similar to old school D&D? Has anyone found any good ad...
