<t>From Troll Lords, the three best imho are: Shadows of the Halfling Hall, Dark Chateau, and the newly released Yggsburgh Book II Castle Zagyg: Upper Works. The 'A' modules from TLG that some others recommend are ok, but these three are the best of the bunch put out by TLG imho. <br/> <br/> Shadows...

Attention: Steve
Will you kindly blog about the current status of Castle Yggsburgh as well as the town supplements? What exactly is Gail pulling? What will you be able to release? What are the other implications of this?

rewriting Berserk Attack
<t>I found the basic barbarian rage feats to be weak and complex in both C&C and 3e. I've also always disliked the notion that raging means you are doing more damage at the cost of hitting your foe. I thought it more logical that you'd be giving your opponent a better chance to hit you. <br/> <b...

<t>I do it this way:<br/> <br/> Characters with a con prime or fighters, barbarians, monks, rangers, and paladins receive minimum hp at level one only equal to one half of their constitution score. In other words, their hp = max(die roll + con mod; 1/2 con score).<br/> <br/> Other characters receive...

<t>I own Arcana Evolved. I added 20+ of Monte's spells (i like the way he tiers his spells so the same spell can be cast in a greater or lesser fashion), I added his Mind Witch class, and I like some of what he did with Greenbonds and with Ritual Warriors. <br/> <br/> Monte is incredibly creative bu...

<t>I'm sure I'll swipe a few ideas from 4e. For example, I am interested in Mearls' effort to give fighters who use a specific weapon (sword and shield, spear, axe, etc.) a bit more specific options. I am sure there will be another good idea or two as well.<br/> <br/> However, in general, I concur t...

troll blog today
<t>Here is my 2 cents on their prioritization of product. <br/> <br/> The CKG is OPTIONAL. In other words, I don't need it to play. Yeah its overdue, big deal. The only reason I should get it is because it is really really cool, the options are really thought out, the text is well written, the whole...

CKG playtesting?
The Troll Lords Blog today talks about a ton of options in the CKG. Some of that is fine. I have one question though. Are you going to playtest this pretty extensively? I was privy to some of the PHB playtesting and I think it added value.
