Fat Dragon Dragonlock Dungeon

Here are the first few rooms of the Vargolg from A1 "Assault on Blacktooth Ridge" made with Dragonlock Tiles from Fat Dragon Games. These took me about a month to print and paint.

Re: A Series Map 1 Remade

My players are heading to The Vargolg this weekend. I am feverishly painting dragon lock tiles for the first set of rooms. This map will see use at my table, though. Thanks

Re: Please Help Me Solidify Disciplines

For simplicity's sake, you could say that specialized wizards get the bonus spells for intelligence and can't choose spells from the opposing list, and non-specialists can choose any spell but never get bonus spells for high intelligence. Or maybe specialists can only use the bonus slots for their s...

Re: Sufi mystic cleric ?

My reading of you post makes me think a variation of bard would be better suited. Replace anything musical with oration type stuff, say the spells are all divine in origin and your off.

Re: Realm Works, are you using it?

I'm guessing there are no plans to put C&C into Realmworks. I guess I'll keep on keepin' on. It is pretty handy for maps and stuff.

Re: The Codex of Aihrde is intensely readable.

is the intro the same as "The Andanuth"? I read that but haven't done more than crack the codex open to look at the pictures and look up some minor stuff.

Re: Most of my group will be new to C&C

My party really felt the lack of a cleric in that one, as would any 1st level party, I suppose. The gnolls provided a real challenge.

Re: Kickstarter for 7th Printing PHB up [look carefully]

I think the message they should take is that Kickstarter is no way to run a business. They use it for everything, and have had some great success with it, but I'm worried they have to go this route to keep "The" core book in print. Seems like bad planning to me.

Re: Realm Works, are you using it?

I use it, but mostly for the map viewing feature, as I have a tv in my gaming table. I find the entering of all that data extremely tedious, and the program itself somewhat difficult to operate, not being a programmer of any stripe.

Re: Dual-Wielding and Extra Attacks

Perhaps this is why dual wielding is fairly uncommon throughout history, difficult to master and not that advantageous. Just because DW is a choice, doesn't mean it has to be equal to the other choices. I always felt like that was more for the role playing aspect of the game than combat effectivenes...

Hobgoblins are pretty tall, what's to stop them from just chasing the boat, or using arrows and spears?

Re: Wenafar, Londea and the quest knights? Kellerwald elves

According to "The Andanuth", the elves were late to the game, and when they saw Unklar coming, they retreated to a pocket dimension (sort of). Many of the quest knights got trapped between worlds somehow, because what good is hiding in another dimension if it's easy to get to. I got the feeling that...

Re: Realm Works and C&C

The gaming surface of my table is 48x48. My flatscreen was a donated 42". I guess you could go bigger if you want, but I find I have space problems for dice and character sheets. I have my players use clip boards so they have a surface to write on. I built my table based on this youtube video. https...

Re: Realm Works and C&C

All my games are face to face, the learning curve was too much for me with Fantasy Grounds, and I just didn't see the point. I was starting from zero with it, however, and no one I know uses it. Realmworks seemed to have more of the features I wanted. I built a game table with a flatscreen in it, so...

Re: Realm Works and C&C

I'm using it for my C&C game. So far I have some stuff from A0 Rising Knight entered, A1 is next. It's time consuming to enter so I'd love for these to be available that way. I have fantasy grounds, but I don't like it much.

Re: What other rpgs do you like to play?

My group just finished a year of Deathwatch. We are starting a fresh campaign of C&C next Saturday, our last one was a few years ago. We have also played Serenity, Marvel Heroic, Gurps, and Battlestar Galactica. What can I say, I enjoy the Cortex system. Firefly was considered for our next game , bu...
