Re: DLing Codex Germania!

Does it have the guy with the hammer (Chernobog ??) who plays chess for a favor and his favor is to bash your skull in with a hammer??? Yes, most definitely! The ancient Slavonic feud between the divine brothers Czernobog and Svarog are a major part of the book since that was apparently the fundame...

Re: DLing Codex Germania!

The Codex Classicum does have many of the spellings in its original Greek yes, but I made the effort to place them into the Latin alphabet for everyone, so don't worry! So indirectly, this handles the pronunciation as well. The Greco-Roman Codex is the largest in the series too by the way, by an ext...

Re: DLing Codex Germania!

Sadly, the enchantments and spells in all Germanic myths and pagan lore that has come down to us are few, and those we do have are now already embodied in the existing spells in the game, just under another name. To have other more obscure ones would require some intensive research beyond the norm, ...

I would drop experience points all together, play, advance, no book keeping. Add some more classes like Samurai and Ninja... ;} These classes are coming in the Codex Nihonica in 2016 with Martial Art rules as well! Be prepared, I know it is long in the waiting, over decade, but it will be worth it!

Re: Error and Questions re: Berserker from Codex Nordica

Tell me how it goes! We have a blast with the Berserkers in our games, it is always unpredictable, as it used to be in Antiquity. Their presence was lethal and feared, and simply having them near brought tension knowing they could unleash the killing frenzy. That is why a team of them, or worse, an ...

Re: Error and Questions re: Berserker from Codex Nordica

Introduction of the Berserker class in Codex Nordica (pg. 103) states the prime attribute is Cha yet on pg. 105 it states the Prime Attribute is Strength. Based on the class write-up, specifically the ability Odin's Fury , I assume the Prime Attribute is indeed Charisma. Am I correct? And regarding...

I have them here on me. So worry no longer! Due to me just finishing the extra matters on the Codex Classicum in the ...

Seeing there were not many actual Halloween adventures out there I wrote this one a few years ago and it already has had five-s...

Everything starts on Monday for sure! As for 'early bird' specials, I have no idea about those details at all. Re: Victorious Kickstarter!

With my Codices and adventure modules I haven't had the time to write it out over the years into a proper book, but it was always an option. Now with Victorious out there would be a rules engine that I wouldn't have to write in addition to the others I have created. That would save some time and eff...

Celticgamer, That is great news about the Asian Codex books. This is a great way for C&C to have an Oriental Adventure book equivalent with even more background. The last I heard about it, the layout was done, so was the art (I think), and it was in the Head Troll's hands now. So now it is a matter of time before things start on this Codex for production/Kickstarter. I took many extra months on it in comparison to its Nordic companion, so this book is dense ...

The Codex Celtarum has been available for over a year now and the Codex Germania is coming out this Fall I believe, so I made those references with purpose. Re: 50% Off Codex Celtarum

Codex Celtarum came in the mail today! I have read the first few pages and it seems pretty cool so far. The Celtic names are somewhat jarring/confusing, though I am very appreciative of the attempt to also describe names in their English equivalencies, e.g., King of Ravens, etc. I am only a few pag...

I think a Mesopotamian codex would be pretty neat.
