Re: Party Treasure

Our would divide the treasure amongst the group for travel after it was aquired. As soon as the group could get to a place safe enough, we'd roll to see who got first pick. Usually this was done at town.

Re: Who here likes playing rangers?

I haven't yet had the opportunity to play C&C, but I'd like to play a C&C ranger. I like the fact that the C&C ranger has no spells and is more of a vanguard of civilization against the wilds than a druid with a sword.

Re: Who uses the Aihrde setting, or think they will use it?

I just picked up the campaign setting scratch and dent for $5 and waiting for it to come in, so no opinion yet. Figured if I liked it, I could pick up the hardback.

Re: March Madness Sale

Yep, I picked up the e leatherettes from the "damaged" section, all for $45.72, with shipping. Sorry, according to their inventory counter, I got the last ones. I already have the normal HC's and PDF's from backing the KS. You know, one of the first things I did was see if they had any more of thos...

March Madness Sale

Just wanted to remind people of the Trolls March Madness sale. I picked up a spare set of Amazing Adventures and the AA Monster book, both with the pdfs for a little over $32 shipped.

Re: 5th Edition

From a business standpoint, it makes sense. If they have a large backlog of C&C adventures that they can port to 5e, they wouldn't have to pay for new art.

AA Book fiction- will there be any more?

Have been reading through the 2nd printing rulebook, and now onto the companion. Usually, the fiction in rpg's is terrible, but I found both short stories to be well enjoyable. Is there any chance of more fiction being written?

Re: Best core book printing from the Trolls to date.

First and foremost with game books, I'm concerned with utility and durability. The 4th edition is the easiest to read. If the paper was a little thicker (like the the Amazing Adventures hardback- feels thicker) it'd be ideal. That being said, I'm no fan of the 4th printing covers. The sea-sick green...

Any modern hex maps?

Just wanted to know if anyone here could point me to more of a modern hex map to use with AA. Pulp hexcrawl would be pretty cool.

Thanks!

Re: Last hardcover black & white PHB request for the Trolls

I'll throw my hat into the ring for a b&w copy of the rules. I had the 5th printing of the PHB, and it was a bear to read. It looks pretty, but doesn't read well.
