Troll Lord Games

No more FLGS in my neighborhood. The last one that outlasted everyone else just closed their doors recently. One calls itself a gaming store but is really just a card store. Don't know how long that's going to last either.

Reminds me of the old fantasy wargame where a Nazi SS patrol ran into the forces of the Evil High Priest. How much damage does a panzerfaust do to a troll?

My wife used to do that. She had two extra stats in her AD&D game. Luck and Perception. Worked fine.

Really like your campaign setting. This is the kind of urban fantasy that I can get into.

So I decided to go to dealer table on Sunday, the last day of Gary Con. I got a sweet deal, the Manual of Monsters, The Adventurers Companion and the GM Screen for only &50! Now I want to run an AA game in the worse way. Or play in one if the stars are right.

Everyone has their place. Hawkeye and Black Widow are good for stealth, special ops stuff, while the Hulk and Thor are the heavy hitters. Cap functions as the leader and strategist, while Iron Man is good at tech stuff. So balance is relative.

So I was looking over Amazing Adventures and I didn't see any rules about stuff like dynamite or grenades. Is it there and I am just missing it? I just now this will come up in a game some time and I just want to be prepared.

Got mine in the mail Monday. Looking it over now, might want to do a campaign soon.

I was just wondering about the class in question. Am I too understand that as a 1st level Gadgeteer I can, if I have enough points I can actually purchase a spell level gadget equivalent to a level higher. Meaning I can as a 1st level character have a lightning bolt gun or something like that? Also ...

I don't see why they can't use guns. I can see this being a big turn off for many players.

I wasn't too impressed with it either. Honestly it looked more like a class you would multiclass with then by itself.
