I think you mean 3rd PRINT Col, rather than edition!!
Very interesting release - I'm surprised to see this.

With a lack of editions, you think will ever see "printing wars"?

The 5th printing is far superior than the 6th printing. The 6th print was just a cash grab by the Trolls as they used inferior goblin ink and had gnomish sweat shops working on the sub-par binding.

To be fair though, the 2nd print was the holy grail of all printings, every one since has been a feeble attempt to recapture the early days of adventure that that printing ushered in.

Thanks! Got mine! Now to see if they did the M&T!

OK, the first printing is there, and at full retail, so I won't be buying the M&T.

The PH offer says "Limited Time", so don't forget to get this ASAP.

Thanks for the heads-up. I have the print version. With the pdf I can print it out and have it spiral bound for game use, and that way keep my print copy in nice pristine condition.

I'm more of a fan of the dead tree versions, but I bought a copy too for the times when I don't bring my C&C BOOKS with me.

I've got mine too. I travel a lot for business, so it is nice to have more portable version for the laptop.

Way ta SUCK me RIGHT back in, ya bastards.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.... Went in for the $10 PHB 3rd printing PDF and came out with 40 bucks worth of other stuff. I hadn't picked anything up since late last year.

I suppose I really ought to start thinking about actually running a game someday. I have all the pieces....

Bought it. Printed it. Just had it spiral bound. Now it can become my gameday book, while my nice pristine hardback version can stay looking pretty on my book shelf.

Well, more like $36. I got the PHB and the CZ player maps from RPGNow ($13), then I called up TLG and bought Yggsburgh and DC ($15+$8 shipping).

I'm exaggerating though; she won't be that mad. After all, I just have to remind her that she spends more than I do!

Well, I haven't actually played an RPG for over a year, but seeing that the C&C Player's Handbook finally got pdf'd, I figured I owed it to the Trolls to buy a copy anyway after asking so often. I'd especially like to thank them for not encrypting it or watermarking it as it will make it much nicer should I get the chance to use it.

AND C&C PHB 3 is still #1 on RPGNOW. Good timing on the Trolls parts.

I got my PDF version yesterday making this the 4th copy of the PHB I've bought for myself over the past couple of years.

Lets see, counting the PDF I have 10 copies of the PH. 1 of the first printing, 5 of the second, and 4 of the 3rd including the PDF.

Heh, I have you beat Treebore.

I have all 5 of the play-test versions (both in print and in pdf), 3 of each of the printings (and in pdf format). That puts my total at 22 C&C PHBs.

Nyah nyah.

;)

Of course, Steve has us all beat -- he has the "warehouse" of them.

Well, if I was a play tester I would likely have similar numbers. For purely a "customer" I think I am dong fine. Plus my numbers aren't just for me, they are my families books, so up to 5 of us use the books.
