Believe Steve said it was shipping yesterday and today.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Technically, yes. Do I ever look? I think that answer is obvious at this point.

They run several issues behind on pdf. Issue 20 ought to be out on pdf once the print magazine hits issue 25 or thereabouts.

When in doubt, call them. I had a few subscription problems when I first signed up. Steve resolved them after a quick call.

I swear, the US Postal Service has either gone on strike, or the office that handles incoming packages & mail to my ZIP code from out-of-state is just plain lazy.

I've not gotten anything recent from the Trolls, but I hear that's because they've not sent anything to me. Eagerly anticipating the new Crusader as I hope to see the article on the Society, my last effort with the whole thing, in there. Should be the start of something marvelous, as a comedian once opined.

My wife got a dang envelope in the mail, which got me all excited for naught.

Well, for those that have copy, and in the fitting words of the ever sanguine Eric Idle, 'What's it like'? (nudge nudge, wink wink)

Well, this issue has been pretty good so far (only half way done and waiting until I can take it to work to finish it at lunch time so I dont go crazy in the cafeteria)

In fact, if the first half looks like the back half (I read the articles in reverse order) this could be my fav issue.
The "Monster of Aihrde" is kind of like a bullette only cooler because it looks like a landshark and has three different ACs.
A preview of the 'urban landscape' chapter of the CKG.
Two (2!) new playable races.

Then here are the two articles that really kicked it up a notch (for me, anyway):
"Creating Magic Items" by Casey Canfield. Couldnt have been better timed because this subject was brought up last game session. Timing is everything here. LoL
"If You Go Down the Woods Today ..." C&C Forest Encounters by Michael Davis. This article is as fun to read as those old "Ecology of ..." articles in Dragon magazine but also is a full fledged encounter (for levels 3-5) you can stick in your game anytime somebody goes into the woodline for something. And you get a brand new monster! (Wasp, Giant)

The map in the centerfold is always cool. Do you guys use these? I sure do.

The other articles look really good. There is another one by Christine Stiles and the editorial by James Ward is usually pretty good but I'm saving those for when my next workday rolls along. I'm going to need something to do on break and reading Crusader is my all time favorite.

P.S. Tom Wham made a sequel to "Awful Green Things from Outer Space" (one of MrsCharlie's favorite games actually) and it is printed on the inside front cover !!!
