It was a rainy day today and nothing was going on - other than me going to work out and eventually having to do some professional writing. As soon as I got done, the weather broke and sun started to come out, so I took the dogs for a walk. It was then that I heard the clanging of mail box doors opening and slamming shut, along side the tell tale sound of the Post Office vehicle reving and stopping. I walked with the dogs around back and the opened up my box...
The shine seemed to shine a little brighter and as I reached in there was no vicious hand trap, rather the best of all treasure - a white envelope with the Troll Lord Logo. Yes, it was indeed Crusader 23. Hoody Hoo! _________________ R is among the most menacing of sounds. Thats why they call it murder, not muckduck. DWIGHT SHRUTE, The Office

lol - funny when you immediately catch something that should have been obvious - I reversed the A. and B. locations in The Crystal Crypt - they are opposite in the descriptions from the map... ok, so just flip those around there. _________________ John "Sir Seskis" Wright Ilshara: Lands of Exile: http://johnwright281.tripod.com/High Squire of the C&C Society www.cncsociety.org

I think Rhuvein's 7of9 picture is too big. Other than that, the Crusader is a fine publication.

The new map of Airhde for the upcoming World of Airhde ad had me geeked. I had to get my reading glasses on, but I could make out new locations mapped on there that are not on the folio or codex maps, much to my delight. Can't wait for that one! _________________ When in doubt as to who is in charge on the battlefield, listen to the man with the bloodiest sword.

The map that is on the back of Crusader #23, for the most part, is also included in The Umbrage Saga box set. Though clearly it is only a small part of a bigger map project by Pete Bradley.

I don't know if mine arrived yesterday or today, but I love the article on Dr. Pepper. _________________ If it matters, leave a message at the beep. Serl's Corner

I've had more chance to flip through -- I like Fiff's article on traps. Reminds me of me. _________________ If it matters, leave a message at the beep. Serl's Corner

I definitely like the new Logo, even though I think it will be difficult for people to tell that is supposed to be a C. _________________ The Ruby Lord, Earl of the Society Next Con I am attending: http://www.neoncon.com/My House Rules: http://www.freeyabb.com/phpbb/viewtopic ... llordgames

I agree about the "c". Sort of looks like an "ornate- something" followed by "rusader". Otherwise, the new logo looks cool. Although, I miss the old look. It's late, and I seem to be contradicting myself. hehe

Yeah, tyler, I hate contradicting myself, too...except the times when I like it. Anyway, count me as one who likes the new logo, too. _________________ LD's C&C creations - the witch, a half-ogre, skill and 0-level rules

Still going to be a few weeks before it shows up this side of the pond, but from the cover image I also think that the new logo is lovely, but needs to emphasise the "C" a bit more.

 Not very meaty
Although it is fun to have a little bit of editoral type writting, at least half of this issue is taken over by such articles. I would rather see more game content or support for other TLG products... such as harvesters.

That will be coming in the near future! I'm putting the wraps on some things right now and will be forwarding it on to Steve as soon as I have the artwork as well. _________________ Eulaliaaa!!!
