I AM going to TC!

Post by Treebore »

Things have changed. See my "Awesome News" post in the general forum for more details.

It looks like we are coming as a family. My wife will, with help from our daughter to deal with things, be going rock hounding for quartz. So will I, time permitting. My boys and I will likely game most of the time, if not all the time. We may even be coming a day or two earlier, or stay a day or two longer. Maybe both!

It will be a few days yet before I can register and do hotel stuff. We'll be renting a car once we get there, since we are a family of 5, and will need to do a lot of other driving around while there.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Troll Con sounds like it should be rockin' this year. I just wish I could get away around that time to participate in the goodness that Troll Con is on it's way to becoming.

Cool! Can you give me info on other hotels close to the Con? I am fine with Motel 6 or better. I'll need 2 rooms, since there are 5 of us.

Yeah, I would like to give Sav. Worlds a try. Should I print out my PDF?

Hey, Treebore, have fun at the con. I'm very happy that you will be able to attend.

This is one that I would really like to go to, as well,. That's my anniversary weekend, and I tried to talk the hubby into taking me there. I don't think it worked. Maybe one year I will get there. Actually, I hope to go to more conventions next year all together.

I'll give thought to running some Savage Worlds, but I have to be careful not to some of Todd's, James W.'s, or Chenault games. Not to mention many others. I'll mull it over. Twould be cool if we got a little Savage in. I'll consider it..

Good for you Tree. Remember to get lots of pics. (better blackmail material later than mere stories.) *L*
