 Showing off
This is the spot for those who want to showcase their talents. Put up maps, sketches, friendly chatter about art styles, ect. 8) _________________ "We'll go out through the kitchen!" Tanis Half-Elven

Well I have virtually no artistic ability whatsoever, but I've hand drawn a few nifty maps that other people may want to gander at.

Which maps again? I got lots. BTW, Treebore is right; good stuff gentlemen. Honestly, I was gifted with so little drawing talent that it boggles the mind. The following pic is for my personal LA campaign - it is of a creature (read Demon) snatched from Slavic Legends and is called an Anatema.
It is a Demon that is a cross btween a frog and a spider and has death in its eyes
Hope you enjoy the creature.

Thats pretty darn freaky/scary! Which means its good. I think it would do its job of making players fearful. I like the lizard pic too. I think I would have liked it better if more of its "face" showed, but still a good "surprise!" kind of pic. _________________ The Ruby Lord, Earl of the Society Next Con I am attending: http://www.neoncon.com/My House Rules: http://www.freeyabb.com/phpbb/viewtopic ... llordgames

Hello, All;
Found an Airdhe map on the forums, and thought I would tweak the formatting, throw it into Celestia (free astronomical simulator) in Earth's place for a quick test, and...
..And I need 4 more posts to post a URL/Website Link.
Anyone like to try it themselves, while I find some posts to respond to?

 Aihrde on a globe!
Okay, now I think I've posted enough to finally unleash my astronomical masterpiece (read experimental kludge-mapped Aihrde/Earth) upon the forum! http://www.freemyimage.com/ims/pic.php? ... HV&i=31471(Note: image garbled from FireFox, but okay from IE; go figyr!) What do you think?... _________________ CoryKhouri aka Necromagnus Elbareth, aka Azarael, aka Slai Rahkuhn, etc.

Looks nice, but I thought Airdhe was more "flat" like a disc, and Inzae was the opposite disc, forming the sphere? Just what I recall, but that doesn't mean its true.
And, yeah, FF really eats that image.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I'm going to look into other image hosts. That one was the first I found. I'll give 'em a chance to get their act together, then, it's the BOOT! _________________ CoryKhouri

I think I can find some hi-rez clouds. Unless you know of any, and any Airhde maps available for this venture? Also do I have permission to clear out text and compass rose for this? (Unless you have a hi res with plain continents.) I could make bump/specular maps for more 3d goodness, and even make the waterways...
