 My New Playset
So, I've been advocating the use of paper models, since I find them fun to build... and thought, maybe, I should show what it is I mean. So, I built this which I hope you guys like. Its nothing truly fancy, and I'm not a pro... so its bound to have problems, but I think I did ok.
Let me know what you think.

It looks great Serle. I love the card stock buildings. I have 2 sizes of that church, one for humans and a smaller one for halflings in Botkinburg. I'm still working on my Keep for the Baron. Most of my other huts, inns and houses are done.
The cemetary stuff you have there is great. I think it came out very well! _________________ Count Rhuveinus - Lejendary Keeper of Castle Franqueforte

Yeah, I know about the camera's problems.... its a crappy camera, but all I have, and I cannot afford to go and spend money on getting something that works. Weird, really, since the camera takes scenic pictures great. I guess it just needs natural lighting. Anything else blows its ability to be useful.
Thanks for looking. The stuff I used, if curious, is a weird combination of the WotC freebies (church and mausoleums), some stuff from this Italian company called Odissey or something (ground, statuary), and this "free dark cemetery" from some individual's website (the larger headstones.)
I could send the files to anyone if they were interested in using the same stuff.

I'd like the files. I never noticed WOTC giving away the free ones. I should look through all the stuff I downloaded from Paizo, there is probably some in that.
Plus you know about worldworksgames?
Let me know how your gift shopping went for your fiance.

Email(s) sent, because I forgot to add a file (the one with the larger headstones) which has been rectified. The WotC ones are still available on their website, I believe, in case you wanted to check out the rest of their free ones.
As for worldworks... yeah, I've been to their website. Right now, I'm just trying to get better at working out the free things, before I try out the for purchase things. From what I've seen of their stuff, though, its really neat.
What's weird, I don't like the use of miniatures, but I do like the use of 3d terrain and models. Maybe because I enjoy building it.

Checked it out. You know, I am getting sooo friggin senile I had forgotten that I had bought that 3D Folio. Maybe after I get done building some bird cages tomorrow I'll feel up to starting to assemble it.

I've got a dungeon entrance structure and a stone bridge over lava/water if anyone is interested (send me a PM with your e-mail address). They were both free/samples that I got last year off some website that sells this stuff. _________________ Count Rhuveinus - Lejendary Keeper of Castle Franqueforte

I was so impressed with the Map Folio 3D set of buildings, that I bought several more. I've got about half of Botkinburg built, but I probably won't try to tackle Yggsburgh! _________________ Count Rhuveinus - Lejendary Keeper of Castle Franqueforte "Enjoy a 'world' where the fantastic is fact and magic really works!" ~ Gary Gygax "By the pricking of my thumbs, Something wicked this way comes:" - Macbeth
