A7 Questions

Post by alcyone »

Just received my copy of A7 - Beneath the Despairing Stone. Was just leafing through, and had a few questions and comments.

p. 13 Concluding the Adventure looks like placeholder text... is it? Earlier it's mentioned there should be more in there.

p. 13 under New Monsters it starts with "... on the other hand..."

What other hand? What was in the first hand?

Map 3 is great; the design saves me from the usual problems of someone seeing down a hall through 5 different encounters that I need to pretend don't see them.

The initial description of the rift and its contents is difficult to picture. I think I'll end up reading it 3 more times and drawing it.

I finally sat down and read it.

In some ways, this is my favorite module in the A series so far just because it's so simple and evil. Plot is clear and easy to follow, but lots of stuff to ruin someone's day. It will clearly mess with anyone who keeps up their lower level habits.

I am not crazy about the paper being used for the cover in my copy. It doesn't hold its shape very well, and I don't think it's going to make it through too many humid days.

I liked what I saw when I glanced through it last month. I'll have to take a closer look, so thanks for the post . . . giving me an excuse to sit down and read through it.
