Dwellers in the Darkness

Post by Bowbe »

Turned in today.

Basic rundown is as follows.

Dwellers in the Darkness is setting book located very near to the Crater of Umeshti. There is found the Undercity of Ulgakur as is mentioned in various of the DB series products.

The undercity is ruled by a cruel Hegemony comprised of members of the dominant subteranean races: Namely dark dwarves, debased umeshti survivors, and goblins. Atop the Hegemony is the wicked lich Lluvandro and his ally Ybras the drinker.

Beyond that it is similar to the dro mandras books in organization. As the entire area has the potential for adventure there is no "adventure" section as with the Dro Mandras books. Instead plot hooks are included.

To sweeten the deal 16 new monsters, two new playable races, and a new campaign specific class are included.

The product is somewhat light on Dark Elves, but I am sure Peter will find a way to fit some on the cover and every 3rd page
Page Count: Unknown but somewhere more than 24 and less than 34.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

Looking forward to seeing it!

I have liked everyone of the Haunted Highlands modules so far.

Still looking for a fix on the maps from the PDF copy of DB-2 though ---- Steve?

Sounds great. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to wait the 6-8 months for it to come out though... wait, you're not pilfering the Haunted Highlands Box Set for information are you?!?!

Because we need HH BOX. All good things.

Haha. Nope No pilferage.

Lets put it this way... There is a ton of new information in the HH Box.

A ton of "other" new information, a new race, new alts for assassin and rogue classes in another book I turned in for Jack of Lies:Eskadia which i think is a 64 ish page book. Eskadia isn't set in Karbosk though... its an island several hundred miles away. It has lots of info on guilds and their structures, criminal organizations, and just a ton of good stuff in it for a very deadly city with lots of dark secrets.

Another TON of (different) information is in this new Dwellers in the darkness book. So basically all new player and Ck stuff in all three books.

Sorta like how Black Libram is partly a CK book but also partly a players book?

Fun! Yeah as to the eight months. Hollar and beg! That sometimes works

Bowberino, that is some excellent information. Now the Trolls just need to get this HH into the hands of the fans. HH fans have a lot to look forward to.

Thanks Case.
