Questions on DB6 (Dwellers in the Darkness - Ulgakur)

Post by Aladar »

I had originally posted these questions as a reponse on another thread in the Pruducts section, but I thought I would also try here as well to see if anyone had an answer:

I was looking through my PDF copy and I noticed two things that jumped right out at me. On page 4 - Under the section on the Gate Maze it states that:

"The Gate Maze requires a successful intelligence attribute check

(CL 4) to pass through without the assistant of a goblin scout. The

challenge levels listed on the following chart indicate the number

of rounds it takes to escape the maze."

However, there is no chart anywhere in the book. Was this chart accidently left out? Or, was the entry supposed to have been deleted, hince no chart needed?

Also, on page 18, under the Entry 22(THE TEMPLE OF MALHATER), it states that:

"This temple built near the ever present lava flow glows with a

hellish red intensity."

However, I do not see a lava flow on the map, nor is it referenced elsewhere that I could find. Is this entry supposed to refer to the black river (THE EIBON) rather than a lava flow, or was a lava flow supposed to be on the map? Or, am I just missing something?

Other than these minor things, a very good product from Casey.

yeah some stuff happened with the map as sometimes happens when peter and I get our communications crossed. I think the map that ended up in the book is a bit different than the (last) one I (thought but may not have) sent him. It matters not, as numbered and drawn its just fine (in fact I like the one in the book a bit better).

The chart was an artifact that got deleted. There is supposed to be a lava flow as well. no biggie just give the temple a hellish lava moat of its own for 20d6 per round immersion damage

Thanks for the reply Bowbe. I will just add a moat of lava, and just let the group worm their way through the maze by trial & error. More fun that way.
Looking forward to more of your excellent work in the future.
