I'll admit that I've been a little down on C&C lately, despite having run the game for several years and always enjoyed it. I've been wishing for a bit more "crunch," perhaps a skill system, that sort of thing. But last night I was reminded by low-crunch is good, because I forgot to bring my rulebooks, my notes, maps, everything. Despite this, based on my recollections and just winging it, I was able to pull off a fairly passable game and get the group moving onto the next chapter. You can read about it here:

Ah, very nice. Being a crunch heavy GM for many years, it is quite difficult to run a game from some of the crunch heavy systems. With C&C, a total snap. Intuitive and simple without being childish. Good read.
