C&C and HeroLab

Post by MadCartographer »

Just wondering if the Troll's are doing anything about getting C&C in HeroLab? It's the BEST Character Creation etc program on the market.

I found a "beta" version for it and it's working very well, needs more work though.

Please at least consider it. We need a "Editor" for CharGen, and HeroLab is best hands down.

Comments welcome.

C&C is pretty simple, and most people seem to be playing it with all kinds of house rules. I just don't see a need for HeroLab. Notice how the most popular add-ons for HeroLab are complicated games, like Pathfinder and Shadowrun.

I don't even know why HeroLab bothered to support FATE Core...

Now, if you wanted a sort of interactive and electronic version of the M&T and CKG, that would be much more helpful for most peoples' C&C games.

MadCartographer,

I worked on the C&C Plugin for Hero Lab over a 6+ month period that I was heavily interested.

Since 5E came out, my interest subsided because it's extremely difficult (impossible?) to find players.

My FLGS does carry some of the books, but I don't see anyone buying them.

My HL plugin thread can be found here:

There's a gentleman that's taking over where I left off, but I haven't seen anything that he's completed yet.
