Sorry, I won't be able to run the game tonight. An old and dear friend of mine passed away Friday. See you next week.

My friend was Terri . . an old childhood sweetheart. We went steady in the 6th grade. Our first date was at the Musicbox Theater on Southport in Chi-town. Twas 1966, oh my!

Walk, Don't Run with Jim Hutton et. al.

My old best friends, Mike and Beth went with us.

Her father drove us there.

She struggled with drugs and alcohol, which ultimately killed her.

We went to see Led Zeppelin, The Who, Jethro Tull and others in '68 and '69. Heh, we would take the bus to go to the concerts and one of our parents would pick us up.

Thanks for listening.

Thanks for sharing about your friend. It sounds like Terri was an important part of your life and what has happened is a really big deal. First loves enter our hearts and lives in ways that can never be forgotten. And you know ... as much as we love your games we love you even more so please don't feel rushed or pressured to hurry back. Take as much or as little time as you need. If I can help in any way please do not hesitate to ask.

Same. I mean, I want to echo what Penny said.

Nice that you remember the good times and good things. It shows how much you cared for her, IMO.

OK, cool. Discord. We can go ahead and use that then as it's better for Penny and Aergraith.

Thanks for posting . . no hurries at all. Stay later if it will help you at your job.

If I'm not too tired, we can start later, no problemo.

Hey man, I'm gonna cancel the game tonight. Not yer fault at all. I was dead tired when I got home from work at 5:30. Thought I would get a second wind, but to no avail.

Aergraith is in Nate's game tonight as well, so let's look to next week ~ although I know that you may have to work late on Sunday before the holiday.

I wonder if there is another day that might be good for you guys to do a make up/catch up session?

Any night is good for me and any start time.

Sorry to hear you are feeling fatigued. But you definitely should take care of yourself, Rhuvein.

Aergraith has a game on Monday night too but I think any other evening is fine if you are up to it.

Cool find btw, Gringnr heh

Man, I know how you feel. Today was a clusterf*** of epic roportions at my job.

I will just chill then because I am beat.

Next weekend is Memorial Day weekend, and, as you might expect, I will probably be working overtime. So, I will probably not be available.

Sorry to throw a wrench in the works (next weekend, I mean). I realy enjoy gaming with y'all and hate to disrupt the group.

Have a good week, kids.

K, and same to you - hope you have a great week. :)

[Oddly (mebbe not) I'm off for the holiday weekend. Could it be that employers might want to have new hires at low wage rather than high wage earners like myself on the job!!!

Really not funny, but true.]

Carry on.

Playing it by ear, we may or may not be busy tonight. Sunday is historically our slowest day of the weekend...
