Into the CORTEX!

Post by Treebore »

So are we going to have a game thread here on these boards, or keep going with the one over on the CORTEX boards? This board would be a little more convenient for me, since I come here to follow several other game threads, but if you guys want to shift it completely to the other board, I'm game.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I'd prefer to use the other thread at http://cortexsystemrpg.org/index.php?topic=3351.0 since we've already been posting all our stuff there

I know patrick is running cortex on friday - but perhaps he will allow me to run on this fridays slot so he can get a break as he is starting Dragon age this week

This game will be retiring in a few weeks, to be replaced by Eclipse Phase - http://www.eclipsephase.com/online-game-friday-nights

Eclipse Phase is not what I would call a normal setting, so please discuss character concepts with me. I can handle the actual rules and numbers for characters if you don't have the rulebook.

This game will be on Friday nights. Also, I am giving more weight to people who were already in the Cortex game and/or who were there for the final stretch of the Mystara game.

The problem is, there is a very public war that I am not touching, not even with a 10-foot pole. I would rather have one less player and be able to run my game smoothly, than have one more player and a serious disruption to my game.

I hadn't realized that it was a war I thought that Tree managed to make himself look foolish in front of a lot of people.

But I understand what you're saying Patrick and Tree is usually able to game on fridays and I am usually unable to.

I can't help but feel that I am being sanctioned for something I didn't do.
