Post Questions about Tell Qa
First, I've been away from the boards for a bit due to PhD work so apologies if this has already been answered and I just missed it.

But among the NPC writeups for TQ, what attributes are Primes? Are they the ones listed? If so, it seems like some might have too many and some too few...?

Also, I noticed some classes like "Sage" and "Amazon"; to use these should we get the Necro D20 Players Guide to the Wilderlands or will AGP be putting out C&&C versions of the classes anytime soon?

Finally, will the Elven Quarter be detailed more in a future supplement?

Thanks,

Mike

I seem to remember JAmes saying he left Prime selection up to the CK on purpose. But I could definitely be wrong.

As for the Elven Quarter, the best answer to that would be to subscribe to his quarterly magazine.

As for an actual answer from JAmes? I don't remember seeing one.

Prime selection is indeed up to the judge. The attributes called out are those that are remarkable in some way, i.e., high or low (or in some cases, remarkably normal for a character that one would think would have something higher), so other attributes should be in the 9 to 12 range.

Going forward, though, in new products most major characters will have their primes noted in the stat block with an asterisk...

Yes, use the Necro version or adaptations of other d20 system classes that you like. Myself, for example, I prefer the Psychic class from Green Ronin's "Psychic's Handbook" for psychics rather than the official psionic classes and abilities. Eventually I will have all those classes (and more) out... I want to release a "Player's Guide to the Wilderlands" specifically for that, but it's on the back burner for now. Some classes will be released through AGJ, others in Player's Guides, and others yet in Judge's Gazetteers. But until then (and even after, if you think my version of the class sucks) use whatever other versions of the class you like from other sources.

Possibly; I rather like that section of town, it's nicely mysterious and mystical. If there is enough interest it is exactly the kind of thing I'd run in the magazine...

Thanks for the details....
Alas, $120 is a bit steep for me to subscribe right now but I intend to purchase the first issue/supplement when it comes out. After that, well...it'll depend on what I can convince my wife.
BTW James, if you need some freelance writers give me a buzz. I've always loved CSIO and the Wilderlands!
