I like it. I could see some swamp-dwelling halflings hiring the PCs to get rid of the local "ogre", and failing to mention that the monster is really a half-gator mutant.

Funny you should say that. It's going to be lizardmen instead of halflings though.clavis123 wrote:I like it. I could see some swamp-dwelling halflings hiring the PCs to get rid of the local "ogre", and failing to mention that the monster is really a half-gator mutant.

I like it, but if I were to use it, I would have to give it some troll-like regeneration and possibly the blood frenzy of a shark.

I could see the regeneration. Might add that in for revision.
Noticed I had forgotten to mention they were egg layers and the reduced damage for the young (1d6/1d6+1/2d4 respectively) and the +3 damage for the elders.

Nice
Should they have a hide in swamp ability and ambush, or would that make them too powerful?

Re: Another Critter- Alligre
I figured their size plus their aggression would make them less likely to engage in hide and ambush tactics. Though having them in deep enough water to hide their bulk might let them appear to be a normal gator as they approach on first glance.Lurker wrote:Nice
