The Mummy characters

Post by old school gamer »

So how would you stat out the characters of Rick, Evie and Johnathon from the Mummy movies? I think Rick would be a Raider/Gunslinger or Raider/Soldier.
Evie would be a raider but more studios, perhaps switching out the more combative abilities with more knowledge type stuff. Or maybe even a non casting Arcanist?
Johnathon probably Hooligan.

What do you think?

I'd be interested to see this as well. I have the companion, but memory of it is muddy at the moment. What would you think if you were just using the main rule book?

Rick would probably be a Raider without the cryptolinguist ability. Switch that out with two fisted since he uses two gun fighting in the movies. Evie might be a socialite with some occult background and maybe some Raider traits since in the second movie she very good with a rifle.

Johnathon would be a socialite/hooligan.

I did Rick AGES ago. If you search here, the thread is around somewhere.

In brief: Rick is a Raider, swapping out Legend Lore and Cryptolinguist for Two-Fisted. His Primes are Dex, Con and Cha. His background is Frontiersman.

Evie is also a Raider, but swapping out Favored Weapon, Scale and Survival for Keen Intellect, Overwhelming Personality and Iron Will. Her Primes are Int, Wis and Cha. Her background is Librarian.

Jonathan is a Hooligan, straight up. His Primes are Dex, Wis and Cha. His background is Archaeology.

I don't have a link. It's somewhere in these boards. Like I said, it was AGES ago...as in, years.

Scanned through all five pages of AA threads. Either it's not been moved or it's not obvious from the thread's title. (Or, I'm still blind as a bat and might have missed it.)

I'll have to tinker with the search function and keep looking. ;)

Now that I think about it, it may have been buried in another thread. Possibly one of the way original preview threads?

Found it. As anticipated, the thread's title was misleading. (Something about another preview and no title mention of The Mummy.)
