Then there's Superhero and Mystery Man, so we can distinguish Doc Savage or the Avenger from the Shadow or the Spider. (Admittedly, the Avenger borderlines both classes, with his ONE power of having Plastic Man's face. Or maybe he has the power to change his body structure and voice too, because he always gets away with his disguises!)
Maybe we can get Jason to add a pdf of those later?

The health is improving. Now, I'm just tied up on a lot of stuff, so I'm not getting through Amazing Adventures as quickly as I'd like. I hope to turn it in to Steve by the end of February, if not sooner. I thank you all for your patience. And thanks for asking about me. :)

I registered just so I could say I just found out about this game and I am super excited. My friend recommended me C&C, and since I love that I'm glad to hear about a pulp game coming from the same people.
Glad to read your health is improving.

OK, I don't want to seem too much of a stalker ( :D ), but any news? How's the editing going? any news about the preview classes? Any chance of a sneak peak at artwork? Any news of future plans? ........
Cheers for anything anyone can tell ~ still REALLY looking forward to this

Hey folks,

Just had a long talk with Christina and Tim both. Tim has offered to step in and help out on this project to get it wrapped up. I've told him to give it a top priority and knowing that manic mofo he is doing so.

I've sent him all the files just now (its tuesday night) and he'll let me know shortly how long it will take him.

Thanks!
Steve

We should wrap up the edits on Classic Monsters today and I'm going to have Peter pull the art on Amazing Adventures. He had revisited the cover a month or so ago and I'm going to see where we are.

I don't know the industry lingo; does "pull the art" mean remove it all? and therefore start over?

*chuckles* No. I just hope it doesn't mean what it sounds like. Cause there isn't enough money or alcohol in the world!

In Steve-ese, "pull the art" would have the same implication as "reading Playboy" would. You know, cause Peter only draws Elmore ladies.

Any updates on this? PDF release date? Preview/teaser bits?

(I'm putting together a C&C game in Trey Causey's Weird Adventures setting, and I suspect that throwing in material from AA will be very helpful, so I'm hoping its advent is soon!)

Tim finished editing the first chapter yesterday. I'm having him hold it until he's finished. We are moving rapidly along to layout on this.

Once Peter has the ms. in hand he can begin to work out more of the interiors. I believe Sarah Walker is working with him on this one.

We are going to put this up for pre-order very soon...as soon as that edited copy lands in my desk. Tim is wandering around Maine and is supposed to be sending it (claimed to once, but my inbox bounced it).

I pegged him again today. We'll see.

Thanks!

I deliberately did not do superheroes, as those should be the focus of their own game. But you can easily do a Jungle Man or Mystery Man using what's there. The Shadow would be a multiclassed Gumshoe/Mentalist. Doc Savage would be a straight-up Raider, properly customized.

In other news, I approved all the final edits today. It's not on Steve's desk and as I understand it, pre-orders should be (at last!) opening up very soon.
