Re: TLG 8129 The Book of Familiars
I have no interest in Nordica, but I've been waiting on the Familiars. I don't mind Kickstarter if it's something I'm interested in.

Re: TLG 8129 The Book of Familiars
IF forced to pick, I'd go Nordica.
Because, Vikings!
I'd prefer not bundling them into one KS, unless both were like, crazy cheap from it.

First one up is Book of Familiars. We are opening it up for pre-order today.
Bluffside should ship on the 13th. Its complete and ready to go.
Nodica is up for a KS or internal PO, we'll see. I want both books out sooner than later.

While all the add ons are super cool, and I'm all for the,, and I understand that this thought coming up adds to the shipping cost but if you do add ons for the these two pre orders past the material contained in the books themselves why not ship the books and then ship the add ons, unless otherwise noted by the pre order person. I know this is a lot of work, but I wouldn't mind pitching in a few more bucks on my pre=order amount for the second set of shipping like you guys did for the city of eskadia pre order, that way if you don't have all the supplemental add ons completed you can ship the core product as soons as possible and then ship the supplements.

I just want Codex Nordica to match my leather copy of Codex Celtarum.
Not too hard to ask for right?

Codex Nordica will go through the regular kickstarter program. Sooner rather than later. The leather option will be offered.

Re: TLG 8129 The Book of Familiars
Has Casey posted a sales pitch on this yet? I'd really like him to go into some of the things he did with this to make it different from the D20 version.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Re: TLG 8129 The Book of Familiars
The .pdf of BoF is going to backers. One thing to say on this one: TOTALLY FREAKING AWESOME! You might not think too highly of familiars in your campaign (I never really did), then I started reading this book. Awesome. Great ideas, fully developed for C&C. I admit, I'm still not sold on a bunch of familiars for all class types, but the ideas presented in this book are going to be invaluable to CKs. Tons of new animals, monsters, spells, magic items, all C&Cized.
I simply can't wait until the hardcover copy arrives.

Echoing Omote: PDF looks great. Also, the artwork seems to really stand out on this one.
Re: TLG 8129 The Book of Familiars
I think one of the authors is Havermale, not Havermile. Could be wrong, but since I own like a half dozen modules he wrote, pretty sure I am right.
