Poisons haven't really changed, just pricing has been lowered and they have been broken into categories. So not new rules per se, but new format and pricing.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

*smiles* Probably should read 'updated and clarified' poison rules.

When you say that the second print contains minor text edits, what do you define as minor? Is the hag supposed to have a hag eye (and is the hag eye entry added)? Do lycanthropes have regeneration and hybrid forms? Was a clarification made to the create spawn ability of vampires?

Perhaps it's just me, but I don't find those things to be minor.

I betcha this bad boy will hit before GenCon 2007. I would't think too much before that though... just my personal theory.

Speaking of GenCon 2007, who's going? I live about 45 minutes away
Anybody want to do some pickup gaming? What's the Troll's presence there, I wonder?

I think there will be a few of us going, plus the TLG guys of course. Some one should make a topic [again] in the General forum.

If ppl want to get together for dinner or whatnot, I know my way around town such that we can avoid places that will be filled with lines of ravenous gamers. There's a Greek place in Fountain Square that's awesome.

I'm hoping to go. Just other things had to be given higher priority for my money spending so far.

It would be great if you can help me find hotels close to the Con with shuttle service to and from the building. Preferably with rooms available.

Being close to the train station would be a nice bonus, since the train is how we intend on getting there.

Dinner out and pick up games are some of my top 5 reasons for going to GenCon.

One of my players works in the Statehouse and will know the nitty gritty. I'll ask him when he gets back from travel at the end of the week.

This book is set for press. Most the edits from Travelers errata were entered and some other from our end. This does include the Hag's eye and other missing text.

Should hit shelves in late July, early August.

Dang! This is going to be the first time in over fifteen years I've owned 3 copies of the same monster book! Very worth doing, however.

Once this baby is officially out... I'll be upgrading to this version and get a copy of the 3rd print PHB at the same time.

Can't wait!

Looks like a slight change on the cover, no? It looks like the dwarf at the lower right is holding a pixie or nixie instead of his hammer!
