Crusader No. 17

The Crusader is a Journal dedicated to games and the gamers who play them. Within its pages lie a plethora of articles that touch upon many of our common interests. Though each issue sports at least one crunchy bit rules article for Castles & Crusades and/or Gary Gygax's Lejendary Adventure, the magazines focus is much more broad. The Journal offers articles that range from the common and simple How To articles, to advice, fiction, poetry, humor, art and more. Feature articles include the following:

The Crusade Continues: This February issue brings together a host new gaming goodness with all the regular columns, fiction, humor, cartoons and reviews. All from the makers of Castles & Crusades! Managing Editor James M. Ward.

I like the cover. Reminds me of an older, drunken Davis. I totally see "get yer damn hands off my beer!" on that face.

Great to see it's coming; any indication of what'll be in it? Other than "C&C goodness"....

As usual we have lots of fun things in this April Fools issue. One of the things I'm extremely proud of is a sneak preview of the OF GODS & MONSTERS book. We are featuring the Halfling pantheon in this issue.

Issue 18 is in the works and we already have Tim Kask's feature, a great article from Casey of Anvil fame, I'm reviewing the board game Medici, and we already have a great adventure by a relative new comer to the magazine.

I would urge you all to subscribe to the magazine as there are lots of great things happening in its pages in the next 12 months as the magazine grows bigger and better with every issue.

Thursday this week is my guess. TLG is moving up in the world and 17 will be the first article we ship with our bulk mailing license.

Oooh, so I should be expecting a bulk of goods to arrive sometime in the future. Don't make me get all 4th dimensional or Wu Tang.

Great news.

Hmm... so there isn't a March one then. Issue 16 indicates it was February's issue.
