I'm totally fine with waiting, it sounds like you are really close, I can wait a little longer! :)

I'm good to wait. Actually gives me something to look forward to these days.

I've been waiting for 5 years. A few more weeks will not bother me in the least!

I'm with the others concerning your defective first print run, don't just pitch 'em!

I'll wait around. Comparatively, I haven't been waiting all that long, anyhow.

Maybe the warped run can be a prize in some sort of cheesy contest that I could win.

... I mean... that someone could win. Of course.

LOL

Thanks all for the comments. We are relatively certain we've found the source of the problem and will run tests on Thursday when supplies and stuff gets here. So on Friday we'll know if it worked and then, if so, place the order, for the actual board we need.

The book is cursed, there is no doubt. #&@(&@! doorknob broke to the mail room today after mark put some digest copies on the shelf.

Thanks again! You guys rock!

You've fallen afoul of "Perteet's Law" Steve. To wit;

The first 90% of the project takes 90% of the time and the last 10% of the project takes the other 90% of the time.

I'm willing to wait as well. It might be handy before GaryCon in case I want to tweak my "Crusaders Gauntlet" one last time, but I can wait for the good runs. You do have my new address in Arizona and I am on record as pre-ordered, yes?

I've thought about this for the last couple of days and have decided to wait til the Trolls are satisfied with the covers. Hell. I've waited this lone, what's another couple of days?

you know with all this waiting what would be nice is a table of contents preview.
OH and that goes double for that new Monster Manual and it's good looking cover. How about a closer look at that??

There's a larger view of the cover. Sarah does good work. :)

Thanks for the table of contents link, Demiurge.

Nice contents from the titles. I like pg. 81 - "How not to use NPCs".
I mean, of course I learned that, but I think such a chapter will
be especially useful to a new CK...and once I get a group together,
I'm surely going to mentor one or two into running their own games
because, dammit, I want to PLAY sometimes!

I love the "Gygax was here."
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
