Indeed, some of these magic items are very powerful, artifacts really and reserved for the use of gods or their followers, so some of these I'll move over to the Gods and Monsters of Aihrde (2011). Lesser items and of course the newer ones will appear in in Monsters & Treasure of Aihrde.

Having made this decision I can close the book on this one. Peter has laid out all the monsters and will have this section wrapped up in short order. I am going t hold this past the 12th of April in order of have our editor have a second look over it (this will be a second editor, Christina Stiles; Tim Burns has already finished the first pass)

Nice! I'll have to wait until May to buy it though. Well, well over budget on gaming stuff this month. Damn Wild Talents!

BTW, has there been a final decision on if this book is going to be SOFTCOVER or HARDBACK? Over the ages M&T Aihrde has been decibed as both a softy and a hardback. What's the final product going to be?

I really hope its hardcover. I don't mind a softcover in a pinch, but it doesn't hold up in the long run. Plus, all the really cool people have hardcover rpg books.

The listing on the hompage page (the turny-picture thing) originally said softcover, but was changed to hardcover at some point. Still not sure what the final product will be, but it is listed at $24.99, so I'm thinking it was finally decided to be hardcover.

I can answer that: Nope. I've got it on my editing desk right now. It's a big book, and it's full of coolness.

Darn. I was really looking forward to this one. Then again, I look forward to all of them(the rest of the A series, the CKG, the next episode of Doctor Who). Well, TLG has nothing to do with that last one. hehe

Don't be so sure. I hear the CKG has a section on TARDIS.

It's not as bad as it sounds. The book is through layout, and I'm forwarding pages for changes as I go along. I'm moving along as fast as I can.

Take your time, Christina. Stephen just spoke highly of you when I saw him recently.

Ser, with regards to a section on the TARDIS...maybe it's time and relative dimensions in SIEGE!

Will the monsters from Monstrous Menaces; that was acquired from Adventure Games Publishing, be included?

Christina,

I am glad you are really giving this thing a hard look. I want TLG to grow, and to grow, the quality needs to be there. That being said, how much longer would you estimate it will take before the final proofing is done?

Too hard to say at the moment. I'll have a better idea over the weekend, when I can knock out more of it. And, keep in mind that Peter will have to enter the edits into the layout, and I'm mighty mean with my pen, so that's a bit of work, too.

Hey, guys! Thanks for the vote of confidence. I will endeavor not to let you down. Keep in mind, however, that even Paizo has had errors crop up in books even after 6 editors have looked over them. I'm doing my best.
I'm not as far along as I planned to be, as real life has gotten in the way of my plans of late, but I'm getting back on track this week.

On a side note, I've also started turning in Fields of Battle chapters. I think you all will enjoy the game.
