I think Steve told me that only the pre-orders have gone out, but I may have misunderstood him (I was in the drive through at Burger King at the time )

I'm a little clueless on this release. It sounds like something I want, but want to ask a couple of questions:

1) How different are these from the original, seperate, releases.

2) Wasn't there some other A-series mini-adventures - Return to and Back to Blacktooth Ridge. This is more a question in general, and not specifically to this product, but do these fit into the adventure series? And are they included in this product?

Thanks...and sorry for my ignorance!

It would be nice if the little pdf products were included. Not sure if they are, but that would be cool.

i received my copy, and am quite happy. I like the convenience of having all the mods (which I also own in their original versions) in one location. Although I have not checked on this, it appears to me as if the Trolls have reworked the layout of the mods for the Umbrage box. There seem to be more breaks in the text (headings, etc) than I remember from the originals - and I consider this a very good thing.

Thanks for the good word.

Peter relaid the whole thing out and injected the 7 or 9 new small encounters.

Steve -

Are there going to be further compliations (like A6-A10, for example)? I'm a little anal sometimes, and it would bug me if this was the only compliation that ever came out. I know nothing's set in stone, but it would be nice if there were further plans for more.

A10 is going to probably be one massive sourcebook and adventure. I guess A10 could be put into a compilation, but based on what has been said about Aufstrag over the years, I betcha that bad boy is going to be all by itself with badassness.

Right. I don't expect a large module/adventure would be put into a compliation, but as long as there's similar grouping, I would be up for that.

We fully intend to release the second group of adventures A6-A13 as a box set and then follow that up with the massive A13 box set, Aufstrag.

I fully intended to purchase this box set next week even though I own all the modules thus far. There was absolutely no need to send an ungern ninja squad to my house to steal A1. I was going to buy this set anyways.

I'd appreciate it if the minions returned my A1 plz.

Oh, my bad. Aufstrag is A13. That's actually much cooler.

I would highly recommend this product for everyone - I had all the mods and have used several already in a campaign, but the box set has added goodies that make it terrific even for those who have the early A series already.... plus the 1st color area map of SE cradle of the world is just plain sweet.

For newcomers to C&C I would promote this as a "must get" along with the PHB and M&T - with it you have the beginnings of the Aihrde setting and the Wicked Cauldron as a good area, and a very good campaign adventure path to start with.

Well, I'm sold, John! I might actually have money to buy soon. As of this weekend, we've got renters in the home I haven't been able to sell!

Does anybody know if the new maps will eventually be available for purchase separately on RPGNow? I will break down shortly and just order this, just because of John's relentless peer pressure. He is the sole reason I succumbed to drinking alcohol at GenCon. Such a bad influence.

Any idea as to when this is expected to hit "general" release?

Thanks in advance,

I was wondering that too. It still says preorder. I checked FRPgames to see if it was on there yet but no dice. I may just order direct through TLG tomorrow.

Based on this thread, I've ordered it! Yippee for group-think.
Serioous question, I thought the A series goes to 12? this box is 0 -5 ... how does that work?

Might have to do with the fact that A7-12 haven't been written yet.

I expect that, one of these days, there might be a 6-12 box or something?

But thats a ways down the road in the speculative future.

I want to buy this and I have already been assured by the owner of my local game store that he will get it in as soon as Alliance gets it to him.

Eager is me for this product.

Hey all,

As some of you may be aware, but for those who are not. Distributors close down their shipping facilities, stop taking orders a week out from Christmas. This impacts our shipping/announcing schedule and always pushes it a week further out (I'm pretty sure that doesn't make any sense)...BUT

In order to get product in stores before Christmas we had to have it mail bound by the 10th. For the Umbrage Saga we failed that test. I wanted that to be the last product of the year, but it will be the first product of 2010. It will probably ship next week or thereabouts but not be available for purchase in stores until week 1 or 2 of January.
