I have to admit the Trolls are often good for a laugh...

Such as todays Harvester offer...

"Regularly 17,99, you can get this game at HALF OFF if you use this coupon:..."

"Special price for Harvesters: $9.99 (click the link to apply the discount)"

So in Troll math, half of $17.99 is $9.99.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

That's that new common core math we talked about a few weeks ago. ;)

It's half-off if you only need one significant figure of precision

My old high school physics teacher gave us a good demonstration.
- He took three sticks that looked the same and said "These are 1.00 meters"
- Then he took three sticks that looked uneven and said "These are 1.0 meters"
- Finally he took three sticks that looked extremely different and said "These are 1 meter"

As you know, trolls have never been very precise creatures

I think Tree was meaning that half of $17.99 (call it $18) is $8.99 (call it $9) not $9.99 (call it $10). An easy mistake, possibly even just a typo, but even at that still a great deal no matter how you look at it!

I agree with Captain_K, we all goof at times, I sure know I do!

I was hoping to find a typo but I'm not well versed in the English language so I couldn't find anything darn it all

$9.99 is half of $17.99 when you factor in regeneration and interest.

That is my problem tooooo. I'm weak in English, but am fluent in Okie, which is very close to the Arkansasian dialect, so the flubs you'all find look normal to me ;)
