This should not be too off thread, but why are Errata off the table? What does it take to fix the "all agreed" things that need fixing?

I imagine errata correction could require radical layout fixes to accommodate the changes.

Whoa! Now that is nice!

My wife collects wild looking pens, but doesn't use them mostly. She prefers mech pencils.

Me I only use wood and mostly dull rather than sharp.

.5 mm or nothing.. might as well use a purple crayon or chalk 8-)

My favorite for design is an all metallic job commissioned for the engineering split of Arthur Anderson's engineering from accounting when they became accenture.

If it was not such a royal pain to get pictures in here.. I'd show you it..

Also I have a buddy who hand makes the bodies from all sorts of odd stuff.. if you ever want truly custom....

About this thread, looks like its just about done? Took a survey on where to send..

This. Always this. I'll accept a .7 mm the day I give up my Oxford comma or 2 spaces after a period. Some things are just right and some things are just wrong.

Got the PH today and it looks fabulous!!

Artwork looks great (I don't have the 6th print, but thinking of how awful the artwork was rendered was in the 5th print) and it's easy to read ~ again compared to 5th print dark text.

Jason's cover art is superb!

Well done, Trolls!!

Oh, and they used glossy paper for this print and the quality/thickness seems better than the 3rd print book.

[I got The Dungeons of Aufstrag book as well ~ but it's so damn awesome that I will have to create a thread to tell y'all about it]

Wait a minute . . both covers are great but I'm now confused.

Which one is which???

I think I got the wrong book. The KICK site adds to the confusion, methinks or am I missing something?

The cover that looks like the 6th printing was the "standard" 7th printing version, the alternative cover was a KS exclusive. More or less. The Trolls probably printed some extra's they will sell off.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Thanks Tree. I thought something was amiss when I looked at both PH cover art books. I sent them an email asking for the alternate book and I'll sent back the standard book.

I'm a newbie, received my 7th printing PHB vis the Kickstarter last week. Just wanted to say:

As an old 1e player, reading the Assassin, Knight, Monk, etc was like revisiting old friends.
I like the colorful, informal writing style; so many game books read like technical manuals these days.
Illustrations are nice, some a little on the small side.
Love the 'fun first/rules last' philosophy.

I already ordered a few C&C monster books, hope to get a game together.

Spudeus gets it. I need this classic printing of C&C in my hands so that I may torment my players on a consistent basis.
