New android app for game masters

Post by mmtbb »

Years ago I created a program for game masters and players to use on their PDAs. A few months ago I decided to recreate it for the android OS.

Pocket Game Master is mainly a program designed to allow the game master to create and store nearly all adventure information. Some features include:
*Make, view and save 20 character sheets at a time.
*Write an adventure from scratch, add pictures, music, web content and more.
*Basic dungeon map creating
*Complete dice bag
*Ability to customize most input to match your campaign.

I created this because I wanted to be able to write adventures on the go, as well as DM/GM from anywhere I had my phone or tablet. Of course, players can use this for their character sheets, map dungeons, jot down dungeon notes, and use the dice.
I took a lot of time to make the app as universal as possible, allowing users to customize to what system they want, including C&C.

The program is not out, but will be released on the android market very soon. Just thought I'd share some pre-release info with you. Here are some screenshots.

I'm with Omote on this, that looks fantastic.

Just do me favour and make sure of two things?

Make it support App2SD.
Make it so we can select where the data is saved to.

Pocket Game Master supports both App2SD and custom saved file location :-)

EDIT: I just realized I started this thread in the wrong subforum. It was meant for the "Open Discussion" forum. If a moderator reads this, could you please move this, I would be appreciate it.

Regardless of forum, that's a pretty slick looking app. Thanks for sharing. Too bad I'm an iPhone user. ;)

When will it be available? Showing it to us in all its glory then telling us it won't be available in a while is just mean. :)

It will be available within the next two weeks. I'll post in the Open Discussion forum when it's released.

If it works on my Kindle Fire, I'm interested. I figure I might as well use it.

Especially if that's a character generator & printer that I spy lurking in there. The previous attempt at a character generator fell down badly when it came to printing. I really hope the best for you this time!!

For those of us the still use real computers, I wish this would be made available for them.

Quick search of the app marketplace on my android pulled up the app itself and a demo app. Can't say anything about it since I'm downloading it now, but just thought I'd pass the word that it exists. :D
