One of the things that came up for discussion at the GaryCon Society dinner was accumulating a trove of generic maps for use on the fly. I've started with cave systems myself. What would be of best use to folks however?
PS: Scott, I need to know where to send these things.

While I always am wary of what I can promise with my time, with Domesday now resurrecting in good hands with Pat and Josh and others, I am going to commit to seeing about helping host our "Society maps" idea - since I've reactivated the Squire's Corner I am adding a tab just for "Society Generic Maps" (though any suggestions for a better name are welcome!). People can send their maps in JPEG form to me at societysquire AT trolllord DOT com and I can host them under this tab at
After GaryCon, Go0gleplex and I were working to get some maps together (well he the maps, and I the layout) for a pdf document of maps. While life caught up and he only sent me one map and I only sent back a single idea for a layout, I'm still up to be involved if you wish.
Hey Scott - I was thinking about having this as just an open sharing site (and BTW I do know that Morty has managed to get things up for download at the ning site, but I think he is having to link to dropboxes or buckets to do so, and so I don't mind having my site as a 2nd place to host material as I have 3 GBs of free space right now and it's easy for me to upload a file into the site directly). Perhaps what we can do is collect and upload maps to here and then periodically when we have a few you might want to format into the PDF and we host the "C&C Generic Map I, II, etc." pdf's?
Yeah...real life sucks. Trying to do 4 people's worth of work has me completely worn out at the end of the day. We're almost 2 weeks behind deadlines and the regional boss is telling us we're overstaffed. Baffles the mind.
Got a new computer and need to reload several of my graphics and CAD programs, so right now I'm dead in the water production-wise even if I had the time. *sigh*
