Just discovered C&C
Just discovered C&C
Hello,
First excuse me if I have posted this on the wrong section of the board. I've just discovered C&C and am really impressed. My players in my Traveller game asked me if we could play something fantasy so I thought I'd write something for them.
I picked up Pathfinder but it had all the things I don't like about D20 (feats, attacks of opportunity, dependence on miniatures). I was looking at reviews of various RPGs and saw a review of C&C that stated it stripped all that stuff out, so I downloaded the quick start rules and liked what I saw.
On the strength of them I picked a couple of PDFs of the main books from DTRPG.
Just really wanted to thanks to the guys at Troll Lord for making a great game, a nice hybrid of the old and new, and say Hi to the community.

Welcome to the Crusade....please ignore flying gnomes as they are simply the interns sacrificed to appease the Troll Lords...

Welcome.... to the Crusaders Forum.
You can also Join the Crusade.
No.... I meant REALLY join the Crusade.
The Castles & Crusades Society.
You and your players are all welcome to join...
And know that you can join the Crusade in more ways than you thought possible.
Step inside... shake the travel dust from your leathers, then sit, have some mead, or ale, rest and be merry and while you rest your travel weary bones read the magical tomes and treasures here.

Why are we here? Because we're here (and love C&C). Roll the bones...

The community here is awesome. Welcome to the boards! There is something about this game that I can't quite quantify, that really hit the spot for me. Nostalgia? Retro meets New meets Retro again? You know, I am still not sure on that, but you can't go wrong hangin' with us here on the boards. I think you will find a great group of folks here!
