Atop a cursed mountain, in towers of ice and snow is a danger of primordial origin - the Lord of Frost. From his frozen keep he threatens the lands and peoples in the shadow of his mountain, bringing low all who come too near. Winter comes early as snows billow from the keep and blankets the fields and villages near the mountain's foot. Help is needed to break the hold the Lord of Frost has over this land and end his reign before his powers reach well beyond the mountain.

The weathered mountainside presents great challenges as blasts of ice and cold pummel the weak and giants lob rocks and icy boulders at interlopers. This is little compared to the dangers awaiting those who dare cross the threshold into the Frozen Keep. Its frozen halls and icy heights hold elemental powers which care nothing for the needs of man nor beast and only within the bowels of this terrifying fortress is the key to lock winter in its palace.

From the makers of the Castles & Crusades roleplaying game comes the sixth adventure for champions and heroes to ascend icy heights and bring an early winter to an end.

For 3-5 characters, levels 6-8. The Adventure continues!

A5 is shipped of course and A6 is on target for a January release. Davis turned over all the maps to me and after I get them scanned I'll get the to Peter for finals.

Yeah, A5 is definitely pretty damned sweet and I'm pretty stoked about the series and it's upped production.

My group is still on A0 right now and I look forward to running through the whole of this series.

Alright, Davis brought the final over here on Thursday. He then loaded his self up in the truck and headed out to Horse Shoe lake where we have a small fishing house (no phone, doesn't get cell phone reception) to work on the CKG all weekend. He of course took A6 with him so I can't move it forward to editing as I want.

But he will be back on Monday.

I knocked this one off the front row for various business concerns. Problem with the A series is that I have to read it to make sure the mythology jives with the Aihrdian. Other mods can shoot right through, but these are always on my desk. And of course they always have notes like this in them, notes from Davis of course: "Kent (my middle name) finish this!" or "Kent I'm bored with this stat block, put something in there." Quite annoying.

But, I'm doing the final read over and it will be done by tomorrow, the 13th.

This module sounds fantastic! I getting it for sure! It reminded of the old "Judges Guild" Dungeoneer magazine atricle that rules for Frost Wizards, Frost Giants who are wizards, and cast only cold and ice related spells. I wonder if there is something like this in the module? I'm going to have to see if I can find that Dungeoneer mag with those rules and maybe work a Frosst Wizard into the adventure if it doesn't already have someting like it.

So I watched the remastered version of The Good The Bad and the Ugly this weekend so I've been listening to alot of that style of music this morning. Music like this.

And then I come to this thread and get Zudraks monstrosity! LOL

I've gone over the playtester notes and the ms with some detail and am confident that it is ready to go to press. Stat blocks in and we are off to go. This week for sure.
