PrimEvil Studios - Painting for Kaskoid
Hello all, Here are some shots of the uber-rare Fineous Fingers miniatures I'm incorporating into a presentation piece for DFer (and RPG veteran) Kaskoid. The completed piece will be a reflection of recent events within the gaming community and will be auctioned for charity at this year's Gen Con. The piece I did last year pulled in $140. Stay tuned for further updates. The Egg _________________ PrimEvil Studios on Facebook. Be a fan.

One more reason I hope I can make GenCon this year. I don't remember seeing that style of mini's before either. So I guess they are uber rare. I love their faces. _________________ The Ruby Lord, Earl of the Society Next Con I am attending: http://www.neoncon.com/My House Rules: http://www.freeyabb.com/phpbb/viewtopic ... llordgames

They were sculpted by Ral Partha's Tom Meier and cast in a limited run by Tim Kask himself. According to Tim, these are the last set in his possession. A very cool set of figures. The Egg _________________ PrimEvil Studios on Facebook. Be a fan.

Hello again all, Here are some shots of the completed Fineous piece (pending Kaskoid's final approval) for the Gen Con Charity Auction piece. There's a bit of a different tone this time around. You'll notice that the characters are wearing black armbands on their left arms - a traditional symbol of mourning and are standing in front of two menhirs. The larger of the two is inscribed with runes reading 'Gygax' and the smaller reads 'The Dragon'. Nuff said? Let me know what y'all think. The Egg _________________ PrimEvil Studios on Facebook. That is really excellent work and a great homage. You're a good "egg". Those are great miniatures and your paint job is superb. They remind me of the cartoons from the 1e DMG. Very cool. _________________ Lord Frost

An update. I've been informed that the piece sold for $510 at auction! Thanks very much to everyone who bid. I'm very pleased with the results - the money went to a very good cause. The Egg _________________ PrimEvil Studios on Facebook. Be a fan.
