Steve,

I forgot if its mentioned elsewhere, but is the Airhde pantheon included here? I know the devils/demons are described, so I was just wondering.

I'm pleased to see that this is going to be a hardback.

Me to, I know it might sound like I'm being difficult, but Of Gods and Monsters not being hardback is the only reason I didn't buy it.

Actually I agree. While I don't mind softcover editions to 'kick around' so to speak, I would prefer hardback versions to these books. That said, the problems which slipped through in the hardback version of the latest printing of the M&T annoys me to no end.

I'd like OG&M get a hardback treatment but given a few problems I've seen in my copy and a lack of certain key deities throughout the pantheons, I'd love to see a slighly expanded version see hardcover.

I would have no problem paying more for it consequently.

(This is officially on my wishlist. hehe)

Man o Man! This is exciting stuff. Steve knocked that thing OUT. I wonder how long until it ships? Or did Steve mention it and I already forgot it due to my squirrel-like attention span?

Looking at the product page for M&T Aihrde, I noticed that the book changed from the red background to the 4th Crusade green. This looks good. No problem with that, but I thought the red cover really stood out and made this book look like it belongs to the Aihrde line. Just sayin'.

I agree with O on that, but I also understand the need for product recognition. Green is cool. That being said, I am very excited about this book. My Airhdian Aventure Series, starting with the Ascendacy of the Horned Legion (part I of the Forge of Dawn Saga), needs some Airhde specific creatures for the flavor to be less vanilla. I am going to register that adventure for GenCon this year (or maybe just run it open on Sat Night).

Eric... Sign me up!!! Sound like an awesome game. The title alone is inspiring for some Aihrdian goodness.

You got it O. It is loooooong though. I may have to break it down into multiple sessions over a few days if I want sessions to stay in the four hour range. So far, people who have playtested it think its a lot of fun.

We are deep into editing on this puppy. And Peter has laid out the first section. I think there are 5 pieces of art left to do. So its moving along very nicely. I still need to tinker with the magic section a bit.

On the cover, I too liked the red and have not fully settled on the green. Peter and I have to talk about layout for this guy and whether it should line up with the Codex and Gods and Monsters of Aihrde or if it should line up with the main books. He's leaning toward the green and I need to consult with Aldo Ghiozzi.

My suggestion is to stick with the green as the standard color and you could go with the red for Aihrde specific items.

That makes sense Rigon. I like that idea. The format of the cover shows it belongs to the CnC line up, but the color flags it as special line. Either way, I want mine today.

In all seriousness, it is in lay out with Peter right now, and after talking with Steve, he is pretty confident it will be ready by the end of March.

I think one of the video updates from a few weeks ago gave a brief hint at the status of Monsters & Treasure of Aihrde. I'll sumemrize what I can remember:

>150 or so monsters

>All new magic items - NOT organized in lists like the original M&T.

>Shooting for April 2010 release.

The treasure section is growing way beyond what was planned. I keep moving over the codex treasure and it proved to be more than I anticipated, much of it is history the said items of course, so I may trim it down. I may however move some of these to the upcoming Gods and Monsters of Aihrde.
