How do you get it so clear and sharp? Did you sketch then ink it? If so what did you use to ink?

Well -- I usually work a piece a bit--- I do a couple sketches then work out all the Kinks. Since I lost my light box this has been a bit harder to do and I find myself holdinup the paper to a light bulb to trace the basic form with pencil... them I use ink.

Once done I erase all I can of the pencil and scan it in. 300dpi then auto adjusting the contrast will usually give a very nice black - evena and consistant.

It has taken me a while to figure it out and I am not sure if I have it down completely yet.

Here is a quick Pencil Sketch I did-- then played with the contrast to see if I could get it to look like an inking

Not sure yet what I think of it

As for Inks --- I dont have my Rapidio graph pens anymore

and have not been able to replace them

So I picked up a disposable graphic pen --- I got it at Walmart in the Scrap book section--- Micro I think is the name-- I dont have them handy--- Ill look it up for you when I can.

Any way I use them to do the majority of the work.

Sometimes I use my mini paint brushes (001 or a 1 or 2 ) to do some of the drawing and lager ones for fill and shading.

Sometimes I do my filling with Paint bucket in Photoshop but well--- I wish I still had my Yablet because using a mouse is so-so .

I use India Ink with the Paint brushes

Hope that helps

PS I do Custom Character Art and such (not sure If I am breaking the rules saying that)

Very nice. Good detail, Wulf. Are you a fan of curved weaponry? 8)

As to curved weaponry-- Iguess I am a fan--- I tend to want to keep my weapons in the realm of the possible-- sometimes I stray a bit though
