Looks like I will be running a C&C adventure at some point during the con. Now, just to find the right time...

It will be a C&C afventure for characters of about 5th level, and will take place in the Necromancer Games setting of Bard's Gate, Slumbeing Tsar, Rappan Athuk etc. The adventure will begin north of the famed City of Song on the fringes of a vast wilderness of decay and waste, called The Desolation.

More info as it becomes available.

Glad and I are figuring out our final travel plans today. I'll make the hotel reservations tonight after work. Then I just need to get busy on some new art

Count me in. Will you have pre-gens, or should we create a character?

CS, if you are referring to my game (and anybody for that matter, feel free to create your own character. Forget the 5th level thing, create any C&C Player's Handbook character (any legal race/class combination) and start them with 25,001 experience points. Of course, I will have some pregens available at the time if anybody needs them.

There will be enough openings for 6 players. Even if we have to play this game off-the-grid, so be it. I'm trying to schedule the best time, but the best time slots at the con are already pretty much busy.

If you feel so inclined, the setting we'll be playing is the Necromancer Games default setting. If you have the Bard's Gate supplement for Necromancer Games, the pantheon of the gods are available there, or just make up whatever character you want to play!

BRING YOUR DICE. You're going to need them, BIG TIME.

Yeah, count me in too, Omote, as long as it's not Thursday night or Friday morning. It sounds like fun.

Just booked the hotel. Airline will be soon.

There will be no Golden Corral.

Got my airfare, con registration and art panel paid up. Now all I have to do is pay Jay my share of the hotel room and half of our rental car.

Jay said he'd let me work off some of what I owed him with nightly hot oil foot massages.

Make it interesting and throw some Cognac on them and light the fire!!

It'll burn that halfling hairy excess and feel real good, heck he might get up and dance a jig!

Enjoy!

No word yet.

Neon Con is much cheaper for me because I can drive to it, and I have a resort there I have a lot of time to use up at. Enough time that I am thinking of staying there for 2 Weeks. Or better yet a week there and a week in Sedona. Then a week in Flagstaff in December.

So yeah, Neon Con is a much cheaper proposition for me.

New plan for CotC. Instead of driving over Thursday evening, since none of y'all will be there anyways, I'm gonna save myself a night's hotel cost and drive over Friday morning. It's only about a 2 hour drive and if I leave around 8 am, I should be there in plenty of time to get set up for my game at 1pm.

By the Omote, did you sign up a game or are you just going to see what time is good and try to grab a table?

No. No I didn't yet.
The problem I ran into is that I signed up for games on Friday and Saturday daytime (12-5pm). Most people need a dinner break of some sort, so I wasn't sure what time to run a C&C game, and sticking to an offical schedule makes it even harder... I guess.

I just booked my room. I got double beds in case Tree or Rhu show up.

Omote, we'll just have to do a pick-up game.

As I understand it, gaming at Con-on-the-Cob is MAXED OUT! Every table is filled for all time slots... that's a lot of gaming. Looking forward to the show!

That shouldn't be a problem, Chuck. There's always the Con Suite, as long as no parties are raging at the time. The tables there get lots of pickup card games (Munchkin, Cobblin Chaos, etc). Otherwise we could always improvise in somebody's room, or at the tables near the indoor pool like Fannon did last year.

Lots of options!

Just a gnome's pube over 2 weeks to go. I'm thrilled!

Yeah, it doesn't surprise me that the game room is packed this year. Word is getting out about how cool Andy Hopp's con is. I'm sure somebody's room in our group can act as a gaming area if need be.

And if it's in my and Jay's room....no, Rigon, you cannot game in our room in only your underware. Sheesh.

I really would have liked to make it, but I think I'll have to play the wait till next year game. I have some personal out of townedness bidness goin' on that week that'll keep me from being able to make even a daytrip.

Y'all have a blast though, and chug a couple for me.
