Detect Invisibility (wizard only, level 2)
By means of this spell, the caster can detect invisible objects and creatures. Out-of-phase creatures and creatures in the line of sight of the caster extant on planes adjoining and visible from the caster's own are likewise, rendered visible to the caster. This spell may be cast on another, but only if it is memorized as a 3rd level spell. Darkness, natural or magical is not affected by this spell; dark is still dark. CT 1, R los, D 1 tn/lvl, Sv none, SR yes, Comp V, S, M (pinch of powdered chalk).

Re: And one more, a spell
Hmm, never noticed that spell wasn't in the lists already.
On a tangent, would Detect Illusion or Detect Magic pick up invisible creatures/objects?

Re: And one more, a spell
There is a version in the book:
SEE INVISIBILITY, Level 2 wizard, 1 illusionist
CT 1 R as normal vision D 10 min./lvl.
SV none SR n/a Comp V, S, M
This spell allows the recipient to see any invisible, ethereal or astral beings
as if they were normally visible. The dweomer does not allow the caster to
recognize illusions nor detect things hidden by means other than invisibility.
The spell requires a small pinch of dust, flour or powder.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Re: And one more, a spell
I wrote this spell before there was a decent body of material. Thanks for the pointer, Tree.
