Yeah - we definitely don't need any more of those.Buttmonkey wrote:Definitely. The last thing I need these days is another megadungeon.seskis281 wrote:And lots more modules, especially in the "compact, can run in one or two shots" kind of format.
This is why I like A0 so much - it is quick and easy, with enough detail to make the NPCs memorable and enough hooks to carry it further if you want. Or, you could simple run through Baleon Nakt and have a great time. And Baleon Nakt is straightforward enough to be alterable for your own preferences and players.

Bring on more modules. Keep the C-series going beyond C3.
Re: Stuff I'd Buy if TLG Made It
One of these days, I'm going to get all the frayed-end plotlines in my brain together in an orderly fashion and submit them as an adventure compilation. I have more ideas than writings, though, so I assume it will be published by my son(s) posthumously like J.R.R. Tolkien.

If you read my posts in the Crusades forum, you can see how quickly that A0 can blow up into beyond what it was meant to be. We finally are getting to A1 but as a continuation of A0.
That said, I would like to see TLG buy out Judges Guild and add those products to C&C.

A plushy of Unklar? Knowing Stephen, they might actually do that.

Alas... I suspect the rights are fairly steep.
I would imagine so.
Well, I still run games set in Hyborea (as I have for 30 years) and its related environs (Atlantis, Valusia).
My favorite Conan stories are still the first ones I ever read- "The Frost-Giant's Daughter" and "The Queen of the Black Coast". I love the dungeon crawl of "The Scarlet Citadel" and the sheer bad-assery and dark magicks in "The People of the Black Circle" and "A Witch Shall Be Born".
But honestly, I could no more pick a favorite Conan story than I could choose a favorite sex position.
I think "Red Shadows" or "Worms of the Earth" are my favorite Howard stories, overall.
BUT
the poem "Cimmeria" is my favorite work of his, period! Man, what an achievement that poem is!!

Kim, I'm sure the rights are pretty steep, or else Pinnacle or countless other companies would have done it. Not, that I'm speaking for Shane Hensley.

I'd be cool if there was some Tarzan action. Jungle adventures against carnivorous apes! Hmm, maybe AA can do it.

The reality is, for me, that anything that has a C&C Logo on it - I'm gonna buy, if for nothing else, to keep my collection complete.

I would like a C&C compilation of the 2E Priest/Divine and Wizard spell compendiums as well as the magic items.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I would buy it, too, but expect to be compensated for my material that is within it. Free is free. For sale is not on my back.Treebore wrote:I'd buy that, as long as they add in the rules Peter had to keep out.Julian Grimm wrote:The Crusader's Companion put into print.

Hmmm...I can see the problem with getting it done. How about this: The CC is done as an 'At Cost' product through LULU or other POD service? This way there is not a question of compensation and we can have a print copy at our table.

Re: Stuff I'd Buy if TLG Made It
I already have a Spiral Bound print copy at my table, I'd just like to have one with the rules written specifically for it, much like the HH PHB, and in a hard cover. So adding in that content, in that manner, and offering a HC version from Lulu or Drivethru would be just fine for me. It would be better if they can offer a cover that fits in with the rest of the line, but I can live without that.Julian Grimm wrote:serleran wrote:I would buy it, too, but expect to be compensated for my material that is within it. Let me echo the Spell Compendiums for Priests and Wizards. That would rock.
And darned near any supplements. I just pretty much like the C&C banner, all told.
