CKG
Re: CKG
Are you referring to the new Colorized update that will be coming out some time after GenCon?
Re: CKG
The 1st print CKG is sold out. You could try Amazon or EBay, or wait for the new printing.Acacius wrote:Either. oos at the troll lords online shop. I suppose it makes sense to wait for the newer color one. dammit TLG take my money!

Re: CKG
You could call one of our retailers in Illinois. I can't remember from my most recent visit, but he might still have the black and white version. I think he takes orders over the phone. 618-529-5317 Ask for Scott. EDIT: Forgot to mention the store name. Castle Perilous.
Re: CKG

Yep, they have a pretty nice actual store front - very real BRICK & mortarDMSamuel wrote:No, Noble Knight is US based - they are in Janesville WI
Re: CKG
Wow. That was quick. Either way, there's a lot to like in the CKG. The classes levels 13-24, air and sea combat, swimming, equipment wastage, mass battles, extra combat maneuvers, and myriad other options. A truly great resource!

Re: CKG
Any word on the release date for the new Printing of the CKG? (print or PDF)
Re: CKG
No word, but you might want to let them finish Monsters & Treasure first. There is a tech problem, probably on my end, with the draft copy.
When I have finished the editing process, I send the draft back to them, with annotations showing what the recommended change should be. The advantage of this is that the annotations are totally reversible and can be ignored if necessary. The disadvantage is that you have to click on the edit to see what the change is. The problem with the Monsters & Treasure draft is that the Trolls, when they click on the edit to see the change I made to the text, see nothing at all in the pop up box for the given edit. However my computer shows everything normally.
In the end, after trying to troubleshoot this for a week, I ended up having to send them a page by page summary of every single edit, so they could see what's supposed to change. Since they now have to cross reference a second PDF to make changes to the first PDF, it's taking longer to fix up Monsters & Treasure.
The CKG will be updated, so please be patient and let the Trolls do what they need to do, after recuperating from Gen Con of course.

Thanks for the info. The wait will be worthwhile so I'm good.Traveller wrote:No word, but you might want to let them finish Monsters & Treasure first. There is a tech problem, probably on my end, with the draft copy.

Re: CKG
Its off to the printers, and I have DLed the print version PDF.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
