Decoder Rings

Post by alcyone »

I was just looking online for decoder rings to send to some of my regular players to summon them for an Amazing Adventures game. Actually, it would be Doc Savage summoning them.

But
a) they are sort of expensive
and
b) they aren't OFFICIAL AMAZING ADVENTURES DECODER RINGS by TROLL LORD GAMES, ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES, as HEARD ON THE RADIO.

It's an awesome idea1, and I think TLG should make some of these, maybe make them stretch goals for the next AA Kickstarter or whatever.

Also, do you know how much a telegram costs to send now?2

1. Like all of my ideas.
2. $18.95 for 100 words at iTelegram. And it's not even a real telegram. And it doesn't say STOP instead of a period.

There is http://www.americantelegram.com/ as well. but even their postal routed service would get kinda expensive. Maybe there is something like e-invite that has a telegram looking format you could use?

I was thinking about plastic decoder rings, or something like that, for possible AA goodies. Would be cool.
